I’d been pondering getting a tattoo for quite awhile. I was nervous about getting an inexperienced artist or going somewhere that was clean, etc. I find Chroma Tattoo through a Google search and I’m so happy I did. Ryan is super creative and chill. He made my first tattoo experience go smoothly. The entire staff was very friendly and the studio is very clean!!! I absolutely love the piece Ryan did. I’m already contemplating what I want next!

I worked with Ben Moore on my tattoo and it was a really good experience. During the consultation, Ben and I talked about what I had in mind, tossed around a couple of thoughts and ideas, and he created a design that captured exactly what I had envisioned. The appointment for the tattoo went smoothly, Ben has a calming effect and the entire process was easy and very nice. All of my questions and concerns were addressed and once Ben began the time seemed to go quickly. The butterfly and stars tattoo is exactly what I’d hoped for and is really beautiful! The receptionist (I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name) was friendly and welcoming. Overall it was a very enjoyable afternoon. I hope to visit again and highly recommend Chroma Tattoo.

Ryan did my tattoo. He used a drawing that I created. I AirDropped it to him, he took a picture of my back, then he placed my drawing on top of the pic of my back, allowing us to play with sizing and placement. As requested, he tweaked my drawing to pretty it up. The tattooing part was not fun. But, that comes with the territory. I was happy with the outcome. My only issue was with how the aftercare instructions were given. They were emailed to me, but I wasn’t told that. I don’t check my email often so I didn’t see the instructions until 2 days later. By then, I had already searched online for info on cleaning and products to use. But, this info differed from the instructions Chroma Tattoo provided. Ryan did tell me about using antibacterial soap and lotion with no fragrance/dye, but the email went into much greater detail about how to care for the tattoo — things I wish I knew 2 days earlier. I’d suggest sending the aftercare instructions before the appointment so the client can get what they need ahead of time. Or at a minimum, tell the client at the appointment that instructions were sent. Aside from that, all was fine regarding quality, timeliness, cost, friendliness, and environment.

The place was clean and friendly! highly recommend. First time for all three getting a tattoo. Super great service! Ben was amazing! He was very welcoming, talked us through the process in detail. He calmed me down while I was stressed about getting the tattoo and overthinking the placement of it. My siblings and I felt like he did his best to make us feel at ease in general. He did a great job, the tattoos turned out great!! We couldn’t have asked for anyone better. I will definitely recommend him in the future! HE WAS AWSOME! I love his stick and poke method. All of our tattoos are healing really great. It looks like we have all had it for months and we only got it two days ago. Go get a tattoo by him!

I have 4 tattoos and this was my 5th — and this was without a doubt from start to finish the best experience I have had, which includes shops from coast to coast, big cities and small. These folks are total pros — from the set up, atmosphere and design of the studio; to the calm, kind, friendly disposition of the entire staff; to the palpable sense of care and interest Ben (Moore) expressed in understanding the design I came in with, its relevance and how best to make it work in terms of inks, positioning, size and skin tone + colors. Across the board, they are caring, talented, skilled curious and just so darn nice. If you are within a 100 miles of this place, look no further and don’t hesitate at all — just book a consult right now. Ben, specifically, is a true all star both in terms of his talent with hand poke tattooing — my first time and totally won over — and how personable, knowledgable and chill he is. A++ … could not recommend more.

I had a tattoo done here by Cam a few weeks ago and I’m still blown away by how fantastic the tattoo turned out, how beautiful and clean the shop was, and how friendly the staff was. I haven’t been this happy with a tattoo ever. The owner Jaime was extremely nice and answered all of my questions about the laser removal as well, I cannot wait to come back!!

I enjoyed the experience. Scheduling the appointments was quick and the text message reminders were appreciated. Working with Ryan was great! I love the tattoo I got and the environment in Chroma eased any nerves I had about getting my first tattoo. The studio was clean and all the needles were opened in front of me. The aftercare instructions were emailed to me at the beginning of my tattoo appointment which was helpful. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations and I look forward to returning.
