I went over 10 years without having a hair stylist that I was happy with. Then I found Johnny who has been nothing but amazing since I first went to him 5 years ago. He understands my hair and is super consistent. Doesn’t hurt that our babies are 1 month apart so we never run out of things to talk about. He is also prompt on responding to messages and always tries to make time to fit your schedule. Even now when I moved to Frederick, I find time to drive 45 minutes to see Johnny on a regular basis

Christina’s is always friendly, professional and sociable. Christina takes care and time in cutting and styling my hair. I hate going to places where they spend about 5 minutes cutting my hair. Just because it’s long doesn’t mean that it’s acceptable to cut straight across and say it’s done. Christina takes the time to trim up the ends so that they don’t have that “just cut” look and so my hair looks more natural after she’s done. Because I had a lot cut off this time, she even recommended that I donate it and packed up my hair for me before I left. It was nice to catch up with her, she always has something interesting to talk about.

Christina’s has become our family’s go to Hair Salon! My wife has been going to Christina’s Design Hair Salon for many years and I have recently started going to her as well. Their location is easy for us to get to (on Rockville Pike). Parking is limited and get hard to find during busy times.

They’re very hospitable, nice and professionals. The only reason I’m deducting a star is because I wanted a purple-teal ombre, which ended up more like a brownish-teal ombre. It can be due to how much they bleached the hair, the color quality or just my hair type. I’m giving the benefit of doubt, as the teal came really nicely, and going with 4 stars!
