I only gave 3 stars because the young lady who did my hair was amazing. But the owner is terrible. I had a 9:30am appointment on a Saturday. I called and asked for the earliest time. I didn’t end up leaving until 4pm. They told me Ne price of $180 on the phone then charged me $220 … after being a whole hour late getting there. The women who did my hair didn’t even start of doing my hair. I asked for the normal size braids and they did what they wanted. The sad thing is this isn’t my first time at this salon …. And i never had any problems. My issue is that the lack of customer service and the ability to satisfy the customers that’s terrible.

Worst experience ever! Braided my hair way too tight after I repeatly told her she was braiding tight. Twist had knots of hair in it. Some of the twist aren’t even… stopped to go to the store twice! I’m glad the other person had a great experience but I will not be returning…

If you go in for braids and there’s a girl there whose complexion is red from over bleaching her skin, run for your life or kiss your edges goodbye. Doesn’t matter how many times you say it’s too tight she’s not going to loosen her grip. They don’t understand english at their own convenience. Be warned; bring your own clips, combs, etc. They don’t clean their combs and I’ve seen them go between 2-3 different people with the same comb. I had to tell the lady not to use preused combs in my hair and to wash her hands. They look at you crazy, pretend not to understand, then talk about you in their language. The boss comes in at the end of the day to collect money and leaves. No one cares about this place and customer service is nonexistent. I won’t be returning. Do yourself a favor and just find another braid spot. This place gives African braiders a bad name. Get it together!

I called and asked for a style in was told a price when I got there I show them a picture of this style but when my hair was done and I got a chance to really look at it it’s nothing of what I asked for and I was charged at extra $20 very upsetting it was my ladt time smh

terrible, wasn’t answering the phone and called me back a million times! When I got to the shop they were sleeping with their feet up on the couch. sloppy braiding, dirty combs, rushed work etc. I wont come back.

Can only speak for Christiane, she did my hair. I love what she did. It was done exactly the way I want and the price was reasonable.
