As a barber working here at choppers i would first like to apologize to everyone who have had bad experiences. However, we work off of appointments. We do not skip anyone. We have clients who have been coming for years and schedule appointments days, sometimes even weeks in advance. Now wouldn’t it be bad customer service if we skipped our appointment or missed our long time client. Anyone can make an appointment just call ahead of time and schedule one with whatever barber you would like. We take pride in each of our haircuts and they speak for them selves. You may not have liked the service simply because you assumed we weren’t good at our craft and had spare time but that’s not the case. 9 times out of 10 we are already booked on the weekends. This is simply why our sign reads VIP only. We all have many years of experience and put out top quality work and this is the reason why we are mainly booked on weekends and don’t have time to cut walk ins.

This shop took both my boys as walk ins and did a great job. They usually do appointments but squeezed us in. My 2 barbers were Tank and Carlos. My son was traumatized by a barber and Carlos made my son feel comfortable and have a great experience.

Tried this place and did not regret it. They accept walk ins but only if one of the barbers has nothing scheduled, other than that make sure to download the app “The Cut” in order to schedule an appointment or call ahead. Will definitely start booking my future hair cuts here! Fast and friendly service!

I just moved to the area and was looking for a new barbershop and I found it here. Employees there were really down to earth. I came in later in the day, but_TANK_was cool enough to let me come back as an appointment later that day. Even gave me tips and local advice of the surrounding area that helped me with my move to Pasadena.

Carlos does a great job, I would refer anyone to him. He knows what he’s doing and he does it well. I’m sure all of the barbers are great though. DO NOT WALK IN – GET AN APPOINTMENT. If you walk in, you will walk right back out unless you are very lucky. (You probably aren’t lucky, so just call.)

I was hesitant at first because of the negative reviews, but I booked on the app” The Cut “, and I walked in on my appointment time and they sat me down fast. I showed the guy a picture of what I wanted and he knew what to do. Great place, I would recommend 100%. I recommend making an appointment first by calling them or downloading the app “The Cut”. It’s fast and easy.

Wish I would have read reviews about not servicing black people. Took my son to get a haircut and was told they were about to close. It was exactly 6 p:m and the business hours said they close at 8 p:m. Sad part is y’all are looked at the same way black people are.

Horrible place! I called to make sure I could get my son a haircut, I called to see if they would take walkins and they said yes! As soon as I I hung up the phone I was pulling into the parking lot, my son and I waited for a little g time and watched them pass 3 people ahead of us, then I finally got up and asked if they were helping the people with appointments first, the guy said yes and they only do appointments, smh! Then they had the nerve to say “they were taking walkins when I called” smh ! How the hell is that possible? We walked in right after! I will never come back and I will discourage anyone from coming to this place! Rude racist! ( yes racist because they were making fun of people of Asian origin. )
