Just came from my first haircut at Chop Shop and it was a great experience. Annie was a professional and friendly and I enjoyed chatting with her. I was going for a little bit of a change and she did a great job of hearing what I wanted and talking me through the options. The space was comfy and the vibe was solid, and I felt like I got a lot of bang (pun?) for my buck. I’ll definitely be going back!

Critical: QualityI do not recommend this place at all. I came in here about a month ago with my significant other to get a haircut. The haircutter was a very nice young man but it did not seem like he knew what he was doing. My significant other got a haircut from him where he parted her hair and then just cut a straight line around her hair as it hung around her shoulders.First, hair should be blended and made sure it’s even not just cut in a straight line.Second, he didn’t ask her where she parts her hair which now after the haircut means that part of the hair on either side is longer and shorter than the rest of the hair by an inch.In the end we payed $80 for a haircut and an eyebrow pluck that should’ve only cost $20 max together based on the quality of the services.Service: HaircutI do not recommend this place at all. The haircutter was a very nice young man but it did not seem like he knew what he was doing. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, QualityI had my hair cut by Glenn and he was fantastic! Very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. He had a lot of great advice about how to better my hair and he listened to what I was looking for. For men’s haircuts, ask for Glenn! Also, great atmosphere and all-around clean place.
