My review as a past barber student from Chop It Up… from theory to getting hands-on, my experience in this program was wonderful! I am so glad I chose this school. Vince was my instructor 1 on 1 in the classroom and I was able to get mentorship from all the barbers at Chop It Up. Being able to watch barbers who have 10+ years experience everyday really sets this school apart. I am now a Class A barber and have gained full confidence to perform services on my own! I was able to walk out debt-free thanks to the comprehensive payment plans they offer. I would recommend this barber school to anyone who is ready to pursue a lifelong career, get hands-on and be their own boss. Great Luck to all future barbers!

Dee is amazing! He is by far one of the best barbers I have been to since moving to San Antonio. He is professional, precise and creative. The atmosphere is amazing and everyone is very respectful. As a female it’s hard to find barbers that can do designs but Dee is very confident in his abilities and it shows through his work. I would recommend him to anyone.

Worst experience never coming back. Waited to get my haircut with the barber school and upon walking in the back room was not welcomed by any of the barber students. They thought it was more important to talk to their friends and sit down in their own chairs instead of helping the 3 + people waiting for their haircut.

I like going here and bringing my boys. The cuts take a little longer because they are students, but you’re paying $5. My cut and my kids cuts are so basic why pay $35?A must do!

Stopped by on a whim because I needed a buzz cut. Guys were great! Welcomed this old man into the shop and didn’t even make too much fun of my COVID self cuts! Gave me tips if I try to cut my hair again. First rate service, great tunes, and better banter! I’d go back if I lived here, but will definitely stop back by next time I’m in town!
