I have struggled to find a stylist for my curly hair for years until I found Onita. I will echo everyone else’s reviews about the cleanliness and beauty of the salon. All the staff are so nice and incredibly helpful. Onita also read my mind and was able to describe exactly what I wanted before I even showed her any pictures, she is incredibly intuitive and talented. I spoke with both Trisha and Rachel, who went above and beyond to accommodate a time that worked for me. Both were incredibly nice, personable, and enormously helpful. From just scheduling my appointment, I could tell I was about to be in amazing hands.When I arrived, I received a very warm welcome from both Trisha and Rachel, who made me feel more like family than a first time customer. I was also given a tour of the whole facility from Ashli an especially friendly and kind team member there, who is very clearly an expert in all things related to the salon. The salon itself is truly beautiful, and incredibly clean. In these strange times of COVID, it is rare to find a public place that feels safe, but Chips provides an environment that allows for comfortable social distancing, with all the precautions in place to ensure that all customers can comfortably be serviced. I was incredibly impressed with how beautiful and chic the interior is, as well as all of the additional services Chips offers, aside from hair.I was there for a cut and color, and the result exceeded my expectations. Onita is truly an artist. I came in with no clear idea of what I wanted, and from the very vague description I gave, she was able to create a color that was not only unique, but worked with my coloring in a way that I could not have even thought of myself. The entire staff very clearly takes a thoughtful approach to their work, and I could not have been happier with the result. I can say with 100% certainty that this was the best cut and color I have ever received, and the experience itself was more pleasant than one could imagine.I cannot recommend Chips highly enough. Its staff and the level of professionalism and expertise cannot be properly described in a review. For years I was looking for someone who could handle my frizzy hair and make it beautiful. Onita cuts my hair using a combination of the Deva Curl and Quidad methods. The style she creates is fantastic and now I can rock my curls every day with joy!

She is the best hair professional I have ever been to.I went initially for a hair rescue for a horrible color treatment and damaged hair and a terrible cut.She fixed me up and has been working with me since.My natural curl has returned and my hair is healthier than it has ever been.Onita does not try to sell a lot of products or push you to do things with your hair. She is very honest and straight forward and so professional.My boyfriend and daughters both go to her now.Her salon is beautiful and clean and a joy to go to.I recommend so highly.Also, I was so impressed and happy that Chips followed all pandemic protocols and STILL made me feel like a pampered person.
