I’m looking for a good salon close to home and I thought I’d try here. They don’t accept appointments so walk-in only. I get there wait maybe 15 minutes or so, then Sam did my nails. He was so worth the wait!! I will go to him again. He’s like a perfectionist with shape and the fill. The quality is amazing. I give 5 stars. Only downside it’s really quiet in there with only 2 employees and they don’t try to have conversation whatsoever. But, I can handle silence with how good my nails look!!

Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueWorst experience. They used regular polish and just stacked it on without letting it dry like it was gel. Then Sam, the owner didn’t understand why I was upset after coming back for a 3rd time that day. The female there does not know how to do nails properly, my nails would NOT dry and looked horrible! Sam had a VERY nasty attitude upon my 3rd time returning; He casually smoked his cigarette and told me to just go in and rolled his eyes as he blew smoke out like a chimney. I let him know I was back and unsatisfied… I just wanted the service I paid for a service but instead received poor service and a nasty attitude from the owner. The lady who did nails was pleasant and had no attitude whatsoever, I believe she knows she was rushing through. There are only 2 people who work there. The male owner is always late and when he does get there you have to wait for him to smoke his cigarette. He does this between each customer. Very unprofessional but he’s good at doing nails but don’t expect a conversation Acrylic nails

I wasn’t very pleased with my experience. I went in to get my nails and eyebrows done. I wasn’t satisfied with how horribly crooked my nails were,but I understood how hard it can be to make them straight. I brought it to the woman’s attention and received an eye roll. Then as she proceeded to “fix it” she was watching tv while filing my nails. I attempted small talk and was ignored. Hopefully it was just an off day for her. Not very good at Customer service.

Kim is always on point with my eyebrows! I won’t go anywhere else to get them done. She is the only person I trust to do them. I have three girls and Kim is the only one that I will allow to even get close to them. Love me some Kim!

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I walked in right after someone and she didn’t even change the towel where my head goes. I brought it to her attention and she did it and threw the old towel on the ground. I saw that she used the same stick from the last person! Disgusting Asian places that do NOT comply with the sanitation laws. She was doing my eyebrow wax and she got wax in MY HAIR. She started saying, her exact words “your hair low, I see a lot of Spanish hair low. I take off.” She started taking it off with the oil then when she was going to trim my eyebrows she cut my HAIR because she was to LAZY to remove it with the oil. This is Kim who is apparently great. No no way in hell is she good. And I asked them what kind of acrylic they use for nails and they didn’t want to tell me you know what that means! THEY USE MMA if you don’t know what that is Google it! It’s banned in the state of NC.

I LOVE Chicago Nails!!!!!!! I have been going here since I moved here in 2008 and I wont go anywhere else! I drive from New Bern to Havelock just to get my nails and eyebrows done! I hear people complain all the time but I have never had an issue. I always recommend my friends to go there..
