I have been a customer of Chic Nails since they opened their doors. I travel 45 minutes there every few weeks for dip powder or gel manicure & regular pedicure. I am always satisfied and feel the staff goes above and beyond to meet my expectations each time. The salon is very clean & the prices are reasonable for the time spent with each customer. I feel like family when I go there & will never go anyplace else. I always get so many compliments on my nails

Had an appointment today with the owner Carolina for 10:30 am. When I arrived she was not there. Was told she was in the other shop and she did not mention that when I made the appointment. DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON! Carolina did my nails. After spending nearly 4 hours at this place, my UV gel set came out chunky because she applied too much. She also messed up my French design. My cuticles are non existent because she overlapped them with UV gel. She had to change the color a few times because the un buffed UV gel caused the design to be chunky. She slapped the gel on the nails and overall, she did a horrible job. She gave a great pedicure, but the polish is also chunky and the shape of the nail is uneven. I had to go home and file my nails to try to create a cuticle and square nail shape.

Critical: QualityWhen i got there i didn’t except the best nails but i expected something decent. My nails look terrible. I got white acrylics.. how do you mess that up? First she was hurting me so much and on her phone a lot. Don’t get me wrong she was very nice and said she worked there for over 2 years but it sure doesn’t look like that. She didn’t cut my cuticles and my acrylics are chunky and a bit bendy. The paint job isn’t even that good. Some of my nails were lop sided. i am completely unsatisfied. It was $50 for acrylics without anything but with the nail polish, design, length and everything had a cost of its own which made the total $70. They barely knew english either, and that’s not much of a problem except the fact that they didn’t understand what i was asking for. Critical: Professionalism, QualityNo one to greet you, I stood there a few minutes than went into the back for help. I had a picture of the color and nail art I wanted , very simple just on one nail. So slow , and the whole time she was in the phone with The State of NJ rent assistance dept. The girl was so busy on the phone she was not getting what I wanted done.Than to top it off there is a sign, tips are cash only. I told her it was my first time there and did not have any physical cash and she responded no problem. Well after my unsatisfactory work was completed she called her manager and was told to charge me an xtra 2.00 for putting the tip on my debit card. I tried to reason with her to no avail, so I took it off of the tip. Asked her to tell her manager it was a matter of principle, I was a new customer not aware of their policy and I would never go back. Mani /pedi experience. First time there. Very clean and hygienic. Covers in the foot basin, everything is sterilized. They soak your heels in hot oil while the color is put on. Ended with a shoulder massage while nails were drying. $25.00. Same price I pay at old salon but way better experience. People are very nice. Gave me coupons for next visit, and when it’s your birthday they give you a reduced price . Just bring verification. I have a new nail salon !!

I love this nail place. Carolina did my French manicure and pedicure for my wedding. I have visited numerous times and have gotten gel manicures and pedicures often which last me for a very long time. The staff here are very sweet, welcoming and humble. Great nail spot and would highly recommend!
