I have been going here for years. I know people have complained about feeling rushed, but Chic Nails is located in a relatively busy spot and when business gets hectic it’s hard to please every single person so I have always had sympathy for their workload. I have only had one negative experience at this Nail Salon and when I came in a day or so later they fixed it, free of charge, and made them absolutely perfect again. I have always requested odd shapes and color combinations and they have never failed to meet my expectations. The picture below is one such example. Those are my real nails, there wasn’t room for any error, and Jessica did an AMAZING job. She shaped each carefully, double checked each nail every few seconds to make sure they lined up nicely, and in the end, her work was flawless. I am heading back in a few hours to get my nails done in the same style and I am positive they will look great again.

Critical: ValueI went for a manicure on Thursday. Regular manicure. They wanted to give me a gel one and I said no thanks, because I had a gift certificate for a regular one. So did my daughter. Not even 48 hours later, both of us had chipped nails. I stopped back in and asked for one of my nails to be fixed, and the same lady who did my nails just painted over the chip (so it’s still noticeable), and then proceeds to tell me how regular manicures don’t last long. I only got my eyebrows waxed here which they did an excellent job of. My daughter got acrylic nails that turned out beautifully. Be aware there are different prices per length (if you want long nails it’s a ten dollar charge.) Neither of us had to wait to be taken care of. (It was a weekend morning.) My only issue & the reason I didn’t give 5 stars: they are too rough on your skin while they are cleaning up your own nails. My daughter had small chunk of skin missing. She said that when they cleaned her own nails that it was painful. Otherwise everyone is nice & helpful.

Not a good experience. Went for a manicure and pedicure. I have been there before and never had a problem. My toe cuticle was cut and powder had to be applied twice to get the bleeding to stop. The tech made me feel that it was my fault. Hopefully I will not get an infection. I felt that the manicure was rushed because one of the tech’s regular came in. I had to remove clear coat from my skin when I got home. I understand that there is a new owner. How about getting a dedicated phone line to take payments.

Critical: QualityI had come in for a pedicure and gel full set. My nail tech took almost 2 hours to do everything and after all of that time my nails were still poor quality. The nails are thick and look very unnatural. I had asked for some simple daisies on my ring finger and she completely disregarded what I had asked for and did her own thing and ended up putting gem stones on my finger. What should have been a simple design turned into a $25 nail design. The nails I payed for were way over priced. Never coming here again.I had come in for a pedicure and gel full set. The nails are thick and look very unnatural. Critical: QualityI got a powder nail manicure being told it is impossible to chip/break. I told them I’m in the pool and I’m going to the beach the next week. WITHIN one week I chipped 4 nails. Then at the beach the top coat is peeling right off. I don’t know if they didn’t apply it right since it was the first time getting it. I got a powder nail manicure being told it is impossible to chip/break. I told them I’m in the pool and I’m going to the beach the next week. WITHIN one week I chipped 4 nails. Then at the beach the top coat is peeling right off. I don’t know if they didn’t apply it right since it was the first time getting it. But definitely would not recommend their powder manicure.

I went there 5 days ago for a gel polish on finger nails and a pedicure. They began to set up for a manicure. I said I’m not getting a manicure just the gel polish on my fingernails. I was charged for the manicure anyway even though it was not done.

I went there to get a fill in and waited 40 mins to even get a seat. The guy who did my nails was nice but very sloppy and did a horrible job, the nail polish was not even and you could see my nail through the polish because it needed another coat. to add to that, there was a lot of extra polish on the sides on my nails that was not clean up. i also got my eyebrows down there and the guy was very rough and left wax and hair all on my face!! you could tell they rushed through everyones nails and did not do a good job because there was multiple people who came back and complained. i will never go here again!!!!

First time I came I spent over $100.00 + $10.00 tip! on a full set gel acrylic and the lady was alright but my nails started lifting and almost nearly came off in less than a week!

Critical: QualityWill never visit again. Wanted a manicure. No lotion used. Cut my nails too short!! Daughter had hers done as well. She repeatedly told to the lady the colors she wanted. She got all black instead with cheap Halloween deco on them. And, the lady was on her phone the whole time!
