My hair was done in half the time and the quality of my braids were and still are really good even 2 months later. I have very thick hair and usually have to take my braids out at week 3-4 because the braids get really fuzzy but I will definitely be returning for future services. Braids

The name Chic Hair Braiding tells it all. this place is Super clean, the staff is welcoming and the service is on point. They went above and beyond to make sure I was able to get my hair done for a special occasion. The owner came especially for me an early Sunday morning even though she had planned not to open her shop. She did not charged me extra and really wanted to help me look my best for my special event. I can never thank her enough. I have gotten my hair done 5 times at this location now and have always been happy and satisfied with my experience. I recommend this place.

Hawa has been braiding my hair for nearly 7 years and she does a wonderful job! So when she opened her new salon in Frederick I was very excited to try her new salon. The salon is clean, brightly lit and all the employees are very friendly and make sure they know what you want before they start. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone in or near Frederick who needs their hair braided!

My daughter got knotless box braids. Over the phone we got an estimate of $120. Ended up being $240. Our appointment was supposed to start at Two, waited for the stylist for a good 45 minutes… They took their good ol’ time. Spoke amongst themselves and were very short with the customers, UNLESS they threatened to leave (after waiting a good hour or two after their appointed time…. ) also please watch what products they use in your hair. After two weeks and $240, her hair is flaking like snowflakes and at this point it just isn’t worth it. Not trying to steer anyone away but make a good decision. Her hair turned out Beautiful!! If you want a warm friendly and a session that’s less then 8 hours (with two people), this ain’t it.

AMAZING! They answered the phone. That is a Big deal… try calling other places. Lol. They got me in immediately. I called at 4:45pm on a Saturday and was seen by 5pm. There was no wait time from arriving, being washed and under a dryer. I showed a picture of what I wanted and they delivered. I have long locs and wanted a short look for a bit. They figured it out and with 2 stylists tag teaming the process I was out by 8. I finally have stylists in Frederick that I can trust and the price was very reasonable for the service provided. Thank you again!!
