My 7 year old gets his hair cut here and loves it. The barbers are kind and funny; it is clean and very “down home.” It’s owned by a local family who take pride in what they do. I would highly recommend it. As it is not designed to be a haircut factory, you may have to wait a few minutes. It’s worth the wait to support a quality local business.

Best barbershop in the area. I visited a number of private and chain barbershops before I found Chet’s. I wanted a normal professional haircut. The chain shops I went to were very inconsistent since every time I visited I had a new barber/stylist. 2 out of 3 times I left displeased with my haircut. No two cuts were ever the same. The private shops I visited always tried to over-style my hair and I left looking like a hipster. Some people might like that, but I don’t.

Good old style barber shops are getting hard to find, and this one is a gem. 15 bucks for a men’s cut plus a free drink out of the cooler. Scott does a great job.
