I recently visited Randy at Chesterfield Barbershop in Newton, MA to get my 11 year old a haircut. While I was initially nervous to bring a child to Chesterfield that anxiety quickly subsided when I seen how kind, welcoming and caring the barbers and folks that work upstairs at Mr. Sids were to all guest. We arrived a bit early and sat and watched the barbers carefully execute hot towel shaves and the sharpest cuts. The work was amazing, including my son. These guys are seriously talented. The Chesterfield team has secured a client for life as there is no better experience. This is truly upscale customer service and the added bonus of gorgeous aesthetics and easy listening, tranquility at its best. Thank you Randy and team!

This is the place to go for the best treatment, best service and friendly barbershop atmosphere. I have been a client of Randy’s dating back 18 years and I couldn’t be more excited to visit him at Chestefields. Both Karim and Randy are salt of the Earth type of guys who are relatable and extremely talented. They can handle any type of hair/hair styles and have you feeling like a new person when you are done. So Fresh and So Clean. Topping off their incredible services, their demeanor and their abilities, Chesterfields is a beautiful space, a throwback style barbershop. Bright, sparkling and new, yet, Classic, in every way. Well where can I start. For starters, this business is top notch and best in class. They are definitely in a league by themselves in the greater Boston area. The establishment alone is a one stop shop for the modern man, from barbering services, men’s grooming products to apparel. They will make sure you are pampered and looking your best, for sure. In terms of decor, they’re definitely a cut above the rest, pun intended. The way they are set up is like a gentlemen’s hang out spot. There’s pool tables, light refreshments and of course, there’s the cuts. If you go, I recommend you see my guy Reem who is the ultimate barber that treats his customers well but more importantly put his precision skills to work to make sure you come out of there looking right. In fact, I assure it. See him and I guarantee you’ll become a lifetime client.

My 11 year old son Anthony has always had a hard time with haircuts. This was my first time using Chesterfields and I was blown away. Randy’s attention to detail is unmatched and I’ve had my hair cut at some of Newbury Street’s top salons. Randy performed a full scissor cut, flawless lineup, and outstanding straight razor shave that left me with zero irritation (this had always been an issue for me in the past with these shaves). I can’t recommend him highly enough!
