I had an awful job done at another salon and they very willingly took me in (right away). They removed and redid my acrylics for $50 – which is an AMAZING price. The guy that did my nails was very helpful and patient with me and my needs. He took his time with each nail to make sure each one of them was perfect. I will be returning! Acrylic nails

I’ve had my nails done here a few time but my main visits were for pedicures, mainly because I could walk in and it fit with my schedule. Sometimes you would get a super good pedicure and sometime they would skip procedures and run you thru. My friend and I went for the last time because we drove 25 miles an the guy in there said no you need appointment cant come today. Apparently they have changed their walk in policy. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. Unfortunately I’ve yet to have a good experience here but this has been the worst. I left the salon less than 20 minutes ago (after going back inside once to have this sloppy, rushed job addressed). Nail techs blamed issue on everyone but herself, even telling me my skin was too dry. My cuticles/nails were not prepped correctly. As I am going on vacation for a week, this is extremely frustrating and HIDEOUS. I requested a refund, even a partial refund, but would only be given it if they removed the acrylics completely (which I paid full price for and would not consider this a sufficient result). I wasted my time and money. Don’t make the same mistake.

I wanted to get my nails done and unfortunately I rushed it choosing cherry nails. I’ve been debating making this post but the more I look at my nails the more I can’t help it. For starters I called asking if my friend and I could go together and get ours done together. Upon arrival they started my nails probably 20 minutes before hers, this being said when they did begin her nails the took her to a different row of chairs behind me where we could not conversate nor even see each other. In my previous experience the nail salon cuts your nails all the way down and this man did not. He made one simple cut across the middle of my nail which I’ve never seen before leaving a healthy amount of nail left. His clean up is horrible. I had chunks around the edges of nails (by the cuticles he didn’t even cut) that snags my hair like fake nails. How going underneath the nail. The clean up is horrible there too I have chunks of glue and acrylic stuck underneath my nails. While I’m in there getting my nails done the girl whom had them done previous to my friend and I came in to complain how they did he nails wrong and as soon as she leave they instantly started talking I’m guessing about her. Plus when he tried to make conversation with my and I told him I had four kids. It was a little rude when he laughed and started talking to his coworker in a language I cannot understand.

Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, PunctualityI’ve been to Cherry nails a couple times now. I’ve always had to wait which I understand. BUT I’ve always seen other people in there saying they’ve had to wait over 30 to 45 minutes! . I had an appointment today (made in advance). They ignored me when I walked in. I I understand they are busy. But no one said anything to me for the first 35 minutes. finally when one of the men was checking someone out, I asked how long it would be. He said another 20 minutes. 25 minutes came and went and I asked again. The girl was extremely rude and I was told another five minutes. PLUS I was not going to be with the nail tech I had made the appointment with.People were in there waiting as long as I was. I completely understand waiting 15 minutes. Maybe even 20 or 25 minutes. But beyond that and no one even acknowledging you. And then they lie and let you literally sit there for almost an hour before they get you in. I have always been more than gracious when I have gone there and waited. But this was ridiculous. The gentleman who did my moms nails was super kind and gentle with my mom. It was my first time going into Cherry Nails as I’m primarily from Petoskey, but I can honestly say I will be going back.
