Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValuePOSTING IT 2x TO REALLY WARN YOU ALL… DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!! I WILL REGRET COMING HERE FOR FOREVER.I WISH I COULD RATE THIS NEGATIVE STARS. As a 1st time customer I was discarded of and treated as unimportant!After showing up on time yesterday to my 2:15pm appointment, I sat and waited for over a hour, just to finally sit in the chair, Josephine place gulk in my hair and then kick me out of her chair for a “preferred” client. The incoming clients appointment was at 3:30, I didn’t sit in Josephines chair until 3:25. Josephine said she thought the clients appointment was at 2:30, but even if that was the case, WHY MAKE MINE AT 2:15?! I walked in with clean, freshly blow dried hair and left with gel in a large part of my hair because I was getting 6 feed-ins. She then said she’d wash my hair out. This includes her grabbing a damp rag and slapping it against my head a few times and then trying to blow dry the hair that was full of gel. I could see the strands coming out. Josephine did not provide or offer any real accommodation for me, she was only concerned about the other client because she drove 1 hr from Milwaukee. The client was also telling Josephine that Josephine has to take her because she just drove all the way here and that’s exactly what she did. She asked me to come back THAT NIGHT or the next day, even though I expressed I have pressing travel plans. Which is why I made an appointment, first, explicitly asking about her availability.. ALSO! What about the 45 mins I drove AND the hour+ I sat and wait for Josephine to finish 8-10 box braids? & then she proceeded to have a chat on her phone before I sat in her chair. I was so angry leaving, that I nearly got into a motor vehicle accident. I was shaking and crying because I wasted my entire afternoon AND my hair was not only not don’t but dirty again. I have never experienced such horrible business practices in my entire life. I would never step back into this establishment again and I would not advise any of my loved ones to do so either. Positive: QualityJosephine was very organized and thorough with her locing technique. I commend her on her quality of work as interlocking is a rare maintenance, the result of my hair was excellent. She ensured it was done to my liking as I’m very peculiar about my hair. Extremely unprofessional!!! 13mins before I was scheduled to arrive, I get a text(after I initiated the first text confirming I would be there) saying she won’t be ready at the scheduled time and that she was still busy. She didn’t apologize or, Didn’t offer another date or time. After she said she was still busy, I asked her what time should I come, and let’s just say I’m still waiting for a response! I read through the reviews after this horrible experience and I notice how she responds to the reviews. Her responses is proof of the lack of professionalism.
