Clean, mostly friendly, BUT I came here for the first time with a family member for simple pedicures expecting to pay the listed price you see on google “book” posted at $25. Upon arrival I was told they only do gel pedi nails (a $40 price tag). Disappointing, but I proceeded. The worker on my feet hardly said a word to me, never gave a smile, didn’t ask how short to prep my nails, and didn’t check the water temp which nearly scalded my feet. She was polite when addressed but the occasional scowl was off putting, when a smile would have been appreciated. The other worker attending to my family was more outgoing and friendly, BUT in the end she took a photo of our feet to post on social media for advertising without even asking permission! NOT business behavior I’ve ever experienced before. Additionally, I was stunned to see a totally unexpected $50 gel pedi charge rather than the posted $40 price tag. NOT COOL at all and very poor business practice. Unfortunately, only 5 minutes earlier this same worker had said she hoped to build a salon for “people” like her … being from another area of the country I didn’t immediately understand what she was meaning, BUT once I saw the “special” charge, I understand now …. I’m a white skinned female American, she’s a black skinned female American, so evidently this salon doesn’t want to service anybody with a different skin color than her. “Chazmiaaa Nailed It” – NOT!!!! If you don’t have the right skin color, I advise you NOT to go here. So sad, because I think the pedi itself was nicely done.

My sister and I went in for full set and pedicure. They told me it would be an hour wait. I came back in an hour and first lady told me it would be another 30 minutes then the guy said 10 minutes. So I started looking at polish.. then lady said well we can only do one of the services because we’re fixing to close. Really…. after telling me to come back in hour!!

They always have great shows on the television while you wait and they always make fun conversations with their customers you will leave very satisfie My first time trying them was about 3 months ago It was totally out of my way. I normally go to a place closer to my home however, I decided to try them upon looking online and seeing beautiful work. I absolutely loved the atmosphere. I was a little skeptical at first due to some reviews but never judge a book by its cover once entering you feel like you’re right at home. I love the atmosphere it’s always busy but speedy progress helps.alot Mike also helps out Vicky (his wife)sometimes doing two pedicures at a time prepping manicures to get them ready for her. They have a g reat selection of colors, up-to-date more modern nail styles, Vicky makes my hands look absolutely beautiful! Being new to Birmingham, I was in need of a nail shop and I’m so glad I found this one. The atmosphere, the service, the employees are all wonderful!!! I felt so welcomed and relaxed. If you are not a regular customer don’t go. They only had two people working (owners of the shop) and they weren’t friendly at all. No warm welcome. The male was too busy chatting with regulars. Me and my sister waited for about 20 minutes before leaving.
