If you’re afraid to have a student stylist, don’t be. I have long, thick, wavy hair, and it can be challenging to work with on a good day. From my first appointment, the stylists at St. Pierre have been excellent listeners and have worked hard to make sure my hair was colored, cut, and styled the way I wanted. Cynthia oversees all of the stylists and stops by several times during your appointment to check in. I’ve had wonderful experiences with each of the students, and my wallet is very grateful for the reasonable prices for haircuts and color.

St. Pierre Salon is an amazing salon! The inside is Decorated beautifully and the clientele and stylists are always friendly. Cynthia is a hands on instructor always helping and encouraging her students. Her students are very eager to please customers and never hesitate to ask Cynthia for input. The search is over! Been looking for a new hairdresser basically since we moved to Roanoke 9 years ago. Decided to keep it local and go to the St. Pierre Academy in my neighborhood. I had the owner/teacher Cynthia cut my hair. She really knows her stuff. Hair looks and feels great. Also, important to me, the salon doesn’t feel snooty. I’m not into a salon that I have to dress up and put make-up on to get my haircut. This place has a nice laid back feel to it. No doubt I will return.

After having many so-so, to downright horrific experiences in different salons with different stylists I was so happy to find St. Pierre’s!! Cynthia did my haircut and color 1st and was absolutely amazing and this time Paige was my stylist and she was also absolutely fabulous!!! The prices and skill of all the stylists are incomparable. Absolutely LOVE this salon. I’ve been cutting and coloring my hair for 20 years…and I’m not an easy client to please. I lucked into finding this place not long after moving to Roanoke, because it was in my neighborhood…and I’m so glad I did. Amazing service, LAUREN is fantastic at her craft, prices are BEYOND REASONABLE and the whole team gives you first rate attention. Definitely give them a try!

Love this place. Cynthia is a great person who cares about her students. She has great communications skills and treats her students and clients with respect. Creative and cutting edge of style!
