The workers there are very nice but the owner was very rude today when my mom accidentally dropped a bottle of nail polish on the floor. The owner acted mad when she came clean it up and charged her $10 for the bottle of nail polish. I think that was utterly ridiculous to be charged for something they use over and over again like a bottle of nail polish. Me and my mom go to this place all the time. It’s not like we were one time customers. Anyway like I said the workers there are very sweet but the owner need an attitude adjustment and have a little more compassion about her senior citizen customers.

There’s nothing charming about charming nails. Their customer service is lacking a lot! The ambiance consisted of just them speaking in their native languages back and forth to each other. They didn’t have any music playing, they didn’t have a tv on. Very much a factory feel. They had their children playing all over the store and the minute I said I didn’t want my nails done, they spoke to each other in Vietnamese then laughed as if they were making fun of me. I felt very uncomfortable. I can honestly say this is the first nail salon where I didn’t tip 30% nor did I look back to say goodbye and thank you. I’ve been to several salons all over the country and this was one of the worst in customer relations and the services were sub par. Charming nails? More like Alarming nails or Harming Nails.

Sooooo.. I’m pretty irritated with my visit today not to mention my last few visits with this salon. They are very polite but I find them to be untrustworthy. I brought a group of homecoming girls to get their nails done and asked beforehand what each girl would cost for what they wanted. At the end of the visit our bill was not what we were quoted. One lady’s reasoning was that the shape of the girls nails was an extra fee. Another lady said that it was the length. Plus, we had a few crooked nails and I specifically asked for them to paint all the way to the cuticle so that the paint would look great still for the homecoming dance at the end of the week. Only one lady listened to our request on one girl. For the amount of money we paid they could have at least took their time and done a good job.
