Positive: Cleanliness, ProfessionalismI’m surprised this place doesn’t have a higher rating. This was by far the best experience I’ve had getting my nails done and I’ve live all over the USA. We travel a lot and recently traveled to Mississippi. I took a chance with this salon and WOW I’m so glad I did! This was exactly what I asked for. Critical: Quality, ValueI have used dipping powder for 10+ years and have been using Charming Nails for several years. My last 2 appointments have been terrible. They used to be friendly and did a great job. I went yesterday and one of my nails chipped this morning. This has never happened. The powder I had on them (put on by another salon at a cheaper rate) had been on there 5 weeks and had not chipped. I did not recognize any of the techs there yesterday. Apparently Russell and family have sold or leased the business and the new operators do not compare. I have used dipping powder for 10+ years and have been using Charming Nails for several years. My last 2 appointments have been terrible. They used to be friendly and did a great job. I went yesterday and one of my nails chipped this morning. This has never happened. The powder I had on them (put on by another salon at a cheaper rate) had been on there 5 weeks and had not chipped. Critical: Professionalism, QualityWill never return to this establishment. Owner was rude and unprofessional. I wanted another coat on my nails, but she refused to do a second coat for my design. I was not happy or satisfied. She took the polish off all my nails and would only polish them clear. I asked why she didn’t want to fix my nails and the answer I received was “because I don’t want too”. Will never return to this establishment. Owner was rude and unprofessional. I wanted another coat on my nails, but she refused to do a second coat for my design. I was not happy or satisfied. She took the polish off all my nails and would only polish them clear. I asked why she didn’t want to fix my nails and the answer I received was “because I don’t want too”. I’ve never been more disappointed in a fill in or the service provided.
