Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, QualitySo i went for my first time 3 weeks ago and i liked the owner just a very ghetto atmosphere. I got a quick weave and informed her to add 2 caps so that the glue doesn’t stick or the hair sheets. She told me i was fine & her quick weaves always slip right off after 2-3 weeks. I asked was she sure and she said if not, COME BACK AND SHE WOULD TAKE IT OUT. Here i am 3 weeks later.. a rude response that she doesn’t open til 11 when her business hrs online are 10am to 7pm. My cap is gluedddd to my hair and won’t come off! I’m sitting in a salon getting it washed out while being in the rush for my next hair appointment 😉 my day still will go great! Ms.Charmaine was professional when it came to appointment update she was running a little late and before I could contact her she was on it. Clean establishment and her and the assistant wore a mask. All that made 3stars. Minus 2 stars for cutting skills on real hair didn’t notice the the back of my hair until I got home with brighter light and noticed all the dark patches with a real close cut, took my neck line and sides extremely to far up and crooked with horrible blending, look like I have a toupee. I immediately had to go to my barber with embarrassment to fix what he can. Some of these beauticians only can cut quick weave hairdos. With all that said I will not be going back and wish Charmaine nothing but the best and please try to master your hair cutting skills.

It was my 1st time receiving service from her and I immediately felt that she listened and gave her professional opinion. Which I’m so happy she did. I really enjoyed getting my hair done here. Very friendly customer service. I loved my trim, she found a natural style that fit me. I was able to schedule my appointment online, this is so convenient. Prices and services are online. They’re practicing social distancing, the shop was not over crowded. She was gentle and did not damage my edges.

OMG!!! If I can give 100 stars, I would.. Charmaine is AWESOME with superb skills! I came here from out of town, looking for a stylist, which was very hard to find, and let me tell you, she DOES have hands for hair!!..I was NOT disappointed.. Her work was on point, professional (as well as the shampooer) comfortable environment, and was in/out in no time. I felt like I was at my ‘home’ salon in Detroit… definitely well worth it!! I showed her pics of how I want my hair to look and she knew exactly how it should be done. She did this!! She slayed my hair to perfection!!! She will definitely be my go-to stylist, as she have gained a satisfying customer.. The loads of compliments I received reflects how this stylist can slay.. GOOD GAWD!!! I highly recommend Charmaine.. Go to her, and I promise you, when you go to her, you’re dealing with the very best!! You will not be disappointed, if anything you will leave out looking good with a satisfying smile!!

I went to Charmaine on 4/1/22 for a quick weave which I was supposed to be charged $100 for a long cap( but when I got there she charged me $125, I didn’t argue I just didn’t give her a tip) , cap was cute until I wanted to take it out on 4/14/22 I had a HORRIBLE time trying to take it out for the last 3 days including today. The cap is STUCK on my hair (which I told her before she did my hair that I suffer from Alopecia and was leery about getting a cap) my scalp started bleeding, she sewed and glued the cap on my head (as you can see in the picture below) , I called her yesterday and asked her did she sew and glue cap on and she said “ No . Honey I never use thread on a cap, you have to use glue remover, water, glue remover and glue remover shampoo or come to me but I won’t be back until Friday .” Now this is not my first going to Charmaine , I used to go to her before COVID and she was cool but to damage my hair like this is ludicrous how a “PROFESSIONAL “ could be so neglectful. I have to make a appointment with my dermatologist to try and get this cap off of my hair without getting tooooo much hair loss. I wouldn’t refer no one to this shop .

Charmaine is very creative with her styles and very passionate about her clients. Her braider, Frances, and other staff are also amazing! Although I haven’t been serviced yet, I am compelled to write a review. I called to make an appointment and I was pleasantly surprised at this young lady’s (the owner) attitude and demeanor. She was patient, informative and took the time to talk with me. NEVER have I called a salon to make an appointment and got such pleasant reception and wealth of information over the phone. I called back to see if she can take me sooner and she was busy with a client and politely asked if I can call her back in 30 mins. Well, to my surprise, she called me back in 15 minutes with the information. I’m excited about my first appointment and based on her work on others’ that I know and reviews here, I know she gonna slay and I have nothing to worry about!!!
