I had a great experience with Ms. Darlene! I recently had my hair colored elsewhere and experienced some pretty severe color damage. She assured me that she would take care of me and that’s just what she did! She deep conditioned me, gave me a steam treatment and with very minimal heat gave me a beautiful silk press! I love it and will be returning ♥️

I had my hair braided by Brianna. Least to say I will not be going again. I wanted medium size box braids, that are waist length. 1) Stylist was 30 mins late, talking about having to go to the eye doctor. 2) She parted my hair, wrapped it rubber bands, then proceeded to braided over it with the braiding hair. Basically using the rubber band method. I told this lady about 3 times I did not want to use that method, on the wrong head it can cause hair damage. I’ve had my hair in box braids many times, at the length that I wanted and NEVER used the rubber band method. From my understanding from other professionals, if used rubber band method, then that person don’t really know how to braid. Ms. Brianna proved that considering she adamantly tries to prove how much better it is with it by taking a picture with one rubber banded and the other not. I told her I wanted the one NOT rubber banded but looks like the one that’s banded. She steadily asks her co-worker how ones look. It shouldnt even matter, it’s about what the client wants! Despite everything I paid $180 to a stylist that was late…… for braids I’m taking out within 2 weeks, and braids last longer than that. No taking off $10-15 for the inconvenience. She said the rubber band method was quicker, but it wasn’t. I arrived at the shop around 11:30 am. We didn’t really get started until an hr later considering her being late and getting situated. I didn’t leave the shop until after 6:30pm. That’s not quicker…..

She don’t need know business card …When I’m out in the world my Waves speaks for itself…And y’all know when she start singing that when you know your hair is going to be the bomb… ….⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ And may I share that this is a nice environment to work and if you don’t have a salon to work in Darlene’s shop is very very clean she’s a very pleasant person to work with people just come in and out just want to do the most overal the best on Old National and a very nice person

She did a great job with my silk press and She charged me regular price and not the up charge for my length…I’m guessing because I was pleasant to work with. Her shop is very warming and comfortable! Absolutely EXACTLY what i wanted. This little spot has officially made me a regular. Prices are great, staff is awesome, vibes are chill. They take walk-ins too. This was my first appointment. I went to Charlie’s Angels Salon about 2 weeks ago for the first time. I recently comb out my Locs and am now a lose natural, which means I went to Darlene with A LOT of damaged hair. Darlene worked miracles! Not only is she a great stylist, who cares about the health of your hair, but she is also super relatable and considerate of her clients. Needless to say, I have been bragging about her to everyone I know since I got my ends trimmed, and a silk press. My hair still looks good, but I have an appointment today for a much needed protein treatment. I am looking forward to it! I highly recommend this salon for anyone who not only cares about looking good, but also the health of your hair. If that’s you, then this is the place for you!
