I liked the cut when it was just Charles but I don’t care much for the newer barbers he’s added. The guy who has been cutting my hair the past few visits likes to cut the sides very short regardless of what I request. If they don’t cut off enough you can always ask for more, but once it’s off you just have to wait for it to regrow. I’m not happy at all.

Great place. Old-school vibe. Open early. Extra affordable. First time there, Angie, my new buddy, was super friendly and did a great job with me and the nice gentleman before me, who by the way had a seriously impressive Elvis type of hairdo going on, I mean, if you can style Elvis, you can achieve almost anything. Looking forward to my next haircut here. Definitely check it out. By the way, in case she reads this, “Daredevil” is the name of the show I was talking about.

This true gem of an old fashioned barber shop has been a fixture in Tucker for many years now and remains one of the finest barber shops in this part of Atlanta. To this day the service remains excellent with reasonable prices, the owner is one of the finest of a sadly vanishing profession. Everyone who passes through this part of Atlanta in need of a haircut should visit this shop at least once, there will be no disappointment and everyone will wish to return.

One shouldn’t be surprised to discover older conservative men talking politics while getting a haircut at an old fashioned barbershop; that’s the price you pay if you want a decent buzz cut. Hearing a staffer refer to Senator Elizabeth Warren as “Pocahontas” is a bridge too far for this Boston boy, however. It’s a free country and they can say what they like, of course, but I won’t be spending my money here.

Charles is a staple in Tucker. He gave me my first haircut in 1969 and is still offering the same great original barbershop experience. My dad continued getting haircuts until he passed last year (didn’t want anyone else touching his hair) and I still take my uncle here.
