Critical: QualityI went in to get a balayage done. And in the salon I thought it looked really good. But I had a massive headache from the bleach and pulling of my hair so I suppose I didn’t pay a great deal of attention to the details. Now some of it, like how my the color lifted, is not the stylist fault, that much I know. But it is apparent to me that she was not great at the balayage technique. The underside of my hair does not match the top of my hair. She left a great deal of dark root showing underneath so it appears very uneven, especially if I was to put it into a ponytail. On the left side of my head in only one spot the blonde goes nearly to my root but no where else on my head does it do this and beside the high spot is a really low spot in the blonde. There is a lot of brass where the root color meets the blonde, there should have been some lowlights in there or a great deal more blending. Also, I asked her to cut my bangs in a diagonal, showing her with my finger the angle of which I wanted it. I part my hair to the right so I wanted an angled bang to blend in with the rest of my hair. The bangs were almost cut completely straight across and do not blend in with the rest of my hair. I also I had to fix it myself because when I brushed my bangs to style them I realized there were several pieces in my bangs that were a lot longer than the rest.
