I think this is the first one-star review I’ve ever left. 🙁 Won’t be going back. The esthetician didn’t communicate with me about what was going to happen with the procedure I booked. She didn’t explain what she was doing *as she was doing it, and didn’t check to see if I was comfortable at all. I had to ask what she was doing during the procedure, since I couldn’t see what was happening, and I was uncomfortable not knowing what was going on. She was much rougher on the skin around my eyes than I had experienced at other places. She got makeup remover (or dye remover, I’m not sure?) in my eye which stung quite a bit. The dye used on my eyebrows was absolutely the wrong color for my hair (the dye she used was orange-ish brown and my roots are ashy dark blonde to brunette). I don’t know if she was overall rushed or just distracted. Once I got outside in the light (there was poor lighting in the room so it was hard for me to see) and I really saw how orange and lopsided my eyebrows were (one was WAY darker than the other), I was embarrassed to be in public. I’m surprised they let me leave with basically only one eyebrow. I didn’t even bother to go back in, because I wasn’t comfortable spending any more time there. I had to go to another salon immediately to fix it…thankfully the other salon was able to get me in and remove the previous dye from my skin and fix both eyebrows so they were the right color, and evenly tinted. I have had my eyebrows tinted before and it was a night-and-day experience from this. I don’t like leaving negative reviews, and was going to leave this review privately via email, but unfortunately I can’t find an email anywhere on the website.
