I went to this salon to get a flat iron. Before i sat down I asked if they knew how to flat iron natural African American hair to which they said yes. My hair was washed and the staff started blowing out my hair. When he finally started flat ironing my hair it was obvious he did not know what he was doing. My hair looked horrible after he finished. He asked me if i liked it to which I replied no. I then payed him and left. I am not upset that my hair looked a mess I am just mad he lied. If he didn’t know how to do African American hair he should have just said so. I would have been more than happy to let him practice on me.
