I initially went to get a fill on Monday 9/26/22 with my mom who did a whole new set. I first called to ask if they did hand drawn nail art and the person on the phone was not too sure of what I was asking but stated to bring a picture and they can do it. That is was we did. My mom could not do the design she wanted because they needed to look for someone to do it. She just had a purple chrome. I happily did have a design, however, Saturday morning 10/1/22 my pinky nail completely popped off. I called to get it fixed since it had not been a week, but I was expected to pay for this fix. This was not right. This clearly says that their nails is NOT guaranteed to last for at least a week. I refused to pay. It was not my fault that a nail pops off within a week of it being filled. If it needed to be fixed before the fill, then it should have been fixed then. Not when it pops off days later and get charged. I thought professional nail techs can notice if a clients nails has air pockets or cracks in the acrylic, not just slap on acrylic fill and hope for the best. Not blame the client it’s their fault they banged it so pay. I have worn nails for years and have never had problems like this. I will never be returning. My nail was actually fixed, however, the nail was made too short. I said it was shorter than the rest but I was told it was the same length. I see the obvious difference. Now I need to go back to my normal nail artist to probably fix all my nails. I noticed none of the techs sanitize any of the nail drill tools including nail filers they use between clients. Nor have clients wash their hands before being worked on. I can imagine the unsanitaryness is what is at fault. Contaminating other clients nails with other clients potential filth.

Not the best and not the worst. My pedicure was okay. My manicure was done sloppy. I requested to have it fixed. Most of the nails were fixed, but some were still bumpy (pitted). Staff wasn’t very friendly and drinks weren’t offered. Not sure if that’s something they do in Maui, but I’m not planning on spending money at this salon again. Going to try other locations.

To start with the positives; the people that worked there were very nice, and they were able to see me on short notice for a mani-pedi. However, they were very pushy to upcharge me to gel polish, and I had to say no several times. The shaping/cutting of my nails was very uneven, and not a single fingernail was fully covered, even after I pointed it out to the technician. The cost of the service was high compared to other places on-island, especially for what I received.

Went on Thursday August 6, Didn’t get the name of the person who did my nails but she cut my cuticles alil too much and it started bleeding. All I got was an i’m so sorry. My ring finger is still stinging cuz cuticles waa cut too much. Nails are ok looking but not what I was expecting. While drying my nails another customer was getting a pedi and I guess the person doing her toes did the same thing cuz her toes was bleeding too… store was clean and all but service needs work.

They changed the color that we wanted (as we wanted matching colors). The nail tech messed up my color in which I asked her to redo the nail & she said, “it’ll be fine with the top coat” she wouldn’t trim my nails when asked (only filed them) she was rude & wouldn’t accommodate any request we had. This was suppose to be a special day & their lack of professionalism made it a nightmare. We refused the rest of our appointment (toes painted) because they wouldn’t fix the mistakes they made. My boyfriends granddaughter walked disappointed. While the grand babies nails are “ok” mine are a total wash & I’ll need to remove the paint job myself.
