OH MY GOD! I cannot begin to describe how much I LOVE and adore this place. The owner, Madelyn is an absolute gem. I found this salon when I moved to Portland about 3.5 years ago, and I don’t trust anyone else with my hair. Madelyn is an absolute genius when it comes to vivids. My natural hair is black as night and super thick. And I’ll post pictures of the magic that Madelyn creates. And the best thing about it is that my hair is still extremely healthy, little to no breakage and it feels silky smooth still. Oh, and did I mention that she does a mean undercut?? She convinced me to get one for the first time and I do not regret it one bit. I love Madelyn and her salon family so much that even after moving to New York, I fly back to Portland to get my hair done by her. She’s the only person I trust with my hair! She’s truly MAGICAL. I had an appointment with Sarah and couldn’t be happier with the result. She did a fantastic job, both coloring my hair, the haircut, as well as the blowout and hairstyling at the end. Comfortable environment with wonderful staff. Sarah has been an amazing stylist who has done great work. I’ve heard a hard time finding a salon where the vibe , stylists and skills have matched what I wanted, but chameleon has meet all my expectations. Sarah was fabulous. The salon was super clean and adorable, the chairs were so comfy! I needed help fixing a bad cut and she took the minimum amount off to get a great look, and she was really patient with me. She’s so friendly and talented. Can’t wait to go back! Haircut, Blowouts

She took my hair from a grown out, fried blonde LOL to a pretty copper and now a really nice brunette 🙂 She cares about the integrity and health of your hair which I think is really important to look for in any stylist.
