Positive: QualityHair by Brandi — Brandi saved me today. I had gone to another place for layers and texture and left completely upset. I called several salons and thankfully Brandi had an opening same day. She immediately put me at ease and did an amazing job fixing what the other stylist had done. She made sure that I was okay with each cut every step of the way. She truly listens to what you say and gives you exactly what you are asking for. Hair by Brandi — Brandi saved me today. I had gone to another place for layers and texture and left completely upset. I called several salons and thankfully Brandi had an opening same day. She immediately put me at ease and did an amazing job fixing what the other stylist had done. She made sure that I was okay with each cut every step of the way. She truly listens to what you say and gives you exactly what you are asking for. She is now my go to for all future hair care.

Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityMy daughter scheduled an appointment with Brandi for a simple trim. The appt. was set for 3:30. We got there shortly before and were met at the door by an older man who was EXTREMELY rude and unpleasant. He did not greet or welcome us. Instead, he rudely looked at me and my daughter as if we had leprosy (even behind the face mask, I could see the scowl on his face), and said in the rudest tone possible that only one person was allowed in the salon at a time. My daughter was a little confused and thought he assumed that we were not there together and said, “That’s my mom.” To which he rudely replied, “Doesn’t matter. That’s the new rule.” He then stood there looking at both of us as if we had no business being there. Mind you, my daughter had scheduled an appointment. He then said, “Let me go get Brandi.” Brandi comes to the door a minute later claiming that she had no knowledge of who my daughter was and insisted that she didn’t have an appt. Then, it finally dawned on her that we did and that she had forgotten about it. However, she was completely disheveled and unprepared for us AND she needed us to reschedule for another day as she had just begun coloring another client’s hair and instead of it being silver as intended, it had come out purple. She was apologetic and rescheduled, but we walked away feeling unwanted and unwelcome. As for the grouchy old man at the door, we were both wearing masks and prepared for follow safety rules and protocols, and there was NO reason for him to be so nasty and hateful. We had never been there before and my daughter was looking forward to trying out a new salon and stylist. I was nice about the whole thing at the time, but the more I thought about it later, the madder it made me. Sadly, they lost a potential regular client with us as we will not be returning. I’ll just take my sweet girl to my regular stylist instead. If you plan to keep regular clients, you need to do something about your front door guy.
