I decided to give this place a try 8 months ago when moving into the neighborhood, and it is by far the BEST place in town. Cesar and other staff always take their time to make sure you leave with a cut that looks good and are happy with. And, at $15 (plus tip of course) for a men’s cut, the value is outstanding for the level of service you receive. They are COVID conscious and have a clean salon. I have tried many different places for a men’s haircut since moving to Chicago 12 years ago. I decided to give this place a try 8 months ago when moving into the neighborhood, and it is by far the BEST place in town. Cesar and other staff always take their time to make sure you leave with a cut that looks good and are happy with. I’ve been searching for a good hairdresser for a long time now and finally got referred to Cesar who did my friends haircut and color and I’ve never seen such professional work! My husband and I both got our hair cut at Cesar’s and I got ombré done. I am obsessed with Cesar’s work and this is the only hairdresser I’ll need in Chicago. So impressed with his skill and he also stayed back way past closing time as he was perfecting my hair.

Came once and had a nice haircut so came back. After having waited for 30 minutes the stylist tells me he’s taking another person before me because she had made a phone appointment and I hadn’t. This is something he could’ve told me when I arrived and saved me from wasting my time sitting there. Great cuts, poor customer service. Be sure to call ahead if you’re going.

If you’re a guy, and you’re used to paying $30 for a good haircut, Cesar Luna Hair Salon will 1) give you a better cut and 2) do it for half the price. I don’t write reviews, at all – this place is worthy of me taking the time to do one.
