I am really disappointed with their service. I didn’t expect that this would happened tonight. I was referred to this cera wax studio and stated this place is neat, clean, professional with their services. I was referred a person who works at nothing between studio for non toxic nail salon in Tyson corner, VA I absolutely love their service it is neat and clean environments and their service. They referred me to cera wax studio in va. I reviewed from customers their comments and thought that I would give a try. So I came and drove down to va from dc and was willing to drive to the studio at that very late but I hate I mean I absolutely HATE go to the studio at night during my work that week and they didn’t have available for me on weekends wow that is really weird. So I came down and met Diana- who work at the studio and did some waxing for my legs and so on and I was asked for exfoliating or something treatment to clean first for my legs I believe it helps when you waxing or something however she didn’t know much about it so. But then she started waxing and wore gloves: however I noticed that she started to click on her iPhone with her gloves and it was a big bad idea to have your gloves on while you were typing on the iPhone if you want to type

Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityLet me first say that I love Diana- she is great.My issue was with customer service. I am not someone who writes reviews unless they are positive, but this happened to me a couple of weeks ago and it doesn’t sit right with me to not say something.Cera Wax changed the woman who was going to do my wax since the woman I get usually was out of town. That’s fine. But they changed the time on me by 15 minutes, without receiving any confirmation from me. I drove almost 50 minutes to get to their Mosaic District location only to be told that they can’t see me since I’m late. The woman on the phone, and the office manager who I called in Bethesda, were unapologetic and frankly cold towards me and even said they might charge me a late fee although I was kind (yet frustrated) over the phone. Didn’t offer any sort of apology for the inconvenience or offer to squeeze me in.A complete waste of 2 hours and gas money on a Saturday. Their other office manager emailed me offering 15 % off. They frankly should have done more for their customers. I was planning to go here monthly and had been a couple of times (and bought their products and referred friends) but will not be going back even with the discount.I do not recommend this business and won’t be recommending to my friends.Let me first say that I love Diana- she is great.My issue was with customer service. Update: the location moved from Mosaic to Falls Church. Courtney did such a fantastic job on my eyebrows. I’m very picky and have been going to the same esthetician for 6 years, but that salon recently closed. I’m so glad I took a chance on Cera. Courtney was so friendly, gentle, and diligent. I’ll definitely be back!

I went here for the first time today. I’ve been maintaining my brows for a long time by tweezing, but I wanted a wax before my upcoming wedding. They took me as a walk in on a weekday and I wound up waiting about 10 minutes. I was offered water/soda and the person at the front was fun to talk to, so the wait wasn’t bad at all.

This waxing studio is wonderful. Clean, thoughtful and customer-focused. I’ve been 3 times now. Each time, I was greeted at the door and offered my choice of sparkling or still water while I waited the couple of minutes to get started. I was also offered my choice of music to listen to while my aesthetician worked. I’ve been having facial (brows and lips) waxing for more than 20 years, and yet this is the first place to use hard wax on me. The difference between this and soft wax with strips is amazing. I have very sensitive skin, but the hard wax only adheres to the hair, not the skin. So, with that plus the lovely serum they apply afterwards, I can go straight to the office or restaurant without the telltale signs of waxing. Highly recommend.

The service was good, however they were so complicated to provide it. After she finished the half leg I decided to do more service and I could not it because it was just one lady and she have another appointment. I said ok, understand, so I went out to book the new appointment for another day, so most to I provided my credit card in case for non-show fee. I understand all the rules but sometimes just provide the service without complications.
