Not a pleasant experience at all. Lot of missed spots for shave and haircut. How can you miss huge spots for shaving? They also screwed up my hairs so bad that… they cut is not even close to be symmetrical. Also, how do you make this many mistakes when I am the only customer in the shop and you can take all the time to do it right?

No frills, no nonsense stylists. After living in Korea for a few years I totally knew what I was getting into. The kind woman who cut my hair and I had a miscommunication that led to a conversation about what I had failed to explain initially. She spent the extra time fixing it with grace and expressed behavior that impressively focused on service recovery rather than how frustrating of a customer I must have been so early in the morning! They have a TV, good mirrors, ample seating for when you wait in line, and it looks like some toys/books for children. Prices in the photo are up to date with this post.

I just recently started going here since my old barber has left the country. I have enjoyed the atmosphere of this barbershop as well as the friendly barbers that work here. Pricing is about average. Great place to check out if your looking for a new barber.

As a woman with short curly hair, I’ve only been going to korean hair salons to get haircuts until COVID-19 happened. I wasn’t able to get haircut for few months now, and my relative recommended me to go to this barber shop. I was a bit worried at first because curly hairs are not easy to style, and I’ve been to hair salons that would cut my hair at different lengths from left to right sides. In contrast to my worries, however, Susan was polite, quick, and skillful. She asked me specifically how long I want my hair cut and made sure she was cutting my hair at the length I wanted before continuing on. She made sure to hold my mask string with one hand while cutting the side of my head with the other hand. I loved the fact that I didn’t need to take off my mask, and that all the workers here were wearing theirs. If it was a hair salon, the hair cut would have taken me at least 40-50 minutes. I always found that time excessive and boring, and I would be busy on my phone. However, Susan was quick with her hands and shortened the cut time of my messy hair to 15-20 minutes. Another positive perk I found was that Susan did not ask any private information about me. I always found it rude and pressuring when ladies at other Korean hair cutteries would ask me about my personal life such as my grades at college, and advise me about how I should live my life. Susan did no such thing and simply complemented my hair. The price was much cheaper than I was used to as well, only costing 25 dollars with tip. The price would have been double if I went to my usual hair salon. I was very satisfied with the hair style as well. I have a lot of puffy hair, and if it’s not cut well, I would look like a mushroom. After the cut though, I was surprised to see my hair calm and neat for the first time. My hair wasn’t puffed up, and there was no mushroom. I would highly recommend this barber shop and would visit again.
