My mom went there for Mother’s Day with my sister for a mani-pedi and had a really negative experience that ruined her whole day. The women who did the pedicures were nice and did a good job but the owner was rude and kept looking at them weird during their pedicures. Then when the one woman was giving my mom a little massage after the pedicure, the owner came over and whispered something to her and the woman rushed away after like 30 seconds of massaging. It was overall a very negative experience and we will definitely not be going back there again.

Positive: ProfessionalismWe are new to Boonton and happy to have found Central Nails and Spa. Julie and Brian are always pleasant to work with. Brian’s chair massage is out of this world. It’s my go to when I am super stress. Martha does a great job when I need gel mani/Pedi. She does a fantastic job. We are new to Boonton and happy to have found Central Nails and Spa. Julie and Brian are always pleasant to work with. Brian’s chair massage is out of this world. It’s my go to when I am super stress. Martha does a great job when I need gel mani/Pedi. She does a fantastic job. Salon is clean and they’ve done a great job to keep it safe.

Critical: QualityNever again!!! I am extremely disappointed. I generally use Central Nails for my pedicures which are fine, hence the two stars. Decided to try their eyelash services and what a MISTAKE!!! They basically piled tons of glue on top of non quality fake lashes and stuck them on. When the tech asked me to open my eyes they were partially stuck shut. I get my lashes done professionaly for years elsewhere and never had an issue. This was a complete disaster. She also answered the phone 4 times while doing my service. Today my eyelashes are stiff and overflowing with glue!!!! My natural lashes are destroyed.Never again!!! I am extremely disappointed. I went here 2 days ago and got a mani pedi and either they dug too deep into my cuticle during my pedicure or I got an infection from this place, but either ways, I’m in so much pain that was a direct result from getting a pedicure here. I would stay far away because they don’t know what they’re doing and/or don’t properly clean and sanitize their equipment.

Today, I had a regular manicure and pedicure done with Central Nails. Martha performed both services. My pedicure is satisfactory but the outcome of my manicure is less than desirable. She applied two thick coats of polish leading to a sloppy appearance. Each fingernail has multiple air bubbles that have thus popped leaving a rough surface texture. There was only one other customer being serviced at the same time I was there so by no means was time a pressing issue. The total came to $37.00 including tip. I will not be returning. I am now on my way to see if I may receive a polish change at a different salon.

I have gone to this nail place a few times. The salon is affordable however the customer service from the manager is terribly awful. I asked for a regular manicure and they couldn’t even get that right. I asked to please file my nails straight and they cut the side of my nails. therefore they had to be cut shorter than what I wanted to fix it. Thank God for nails being able to grow! The manager followed me outside the door telling me I gave a low tip. I couldn’t believe she had ask me that. they are lucky they even got a tip after running my nails. I expressed to her that the service was terrible and I did not like the way they treated me. The manager told me to not come back. so I thought, why would I want to go back there. Unbelievable but a true story.

Incredible, attentive service. Vast selections of colours in their polishes and every service you can imagine is available. The quick massage as my nails were getting done had me considering booking an hour on the spot. Michelle, my nail technician, is a pro and Susan treated my toes as though they were her own. Truly a class above the rest. A hidden gem in Boonton.
