I have been going here for about 3 years now. I loved it when I first started going. They did a great job with my acrylics – they were fast, nice, and good quality. However, recently, I’ve been very reluctant to come back. Due to not being from the area, I come back regardless because of my lack of knowledge. But, the man who works there is really rude. He has a very bad attitude and is super rough when working with clients. He will give attitude and berate clients when they ask simple questions, and then suddenly gets nice when he gets tips. For the attitude he has, he does not have a great skill set. I wanted 2 colors for Valentine’s Day and explained which nails I wanted with which colors (3 nails red, 1 nail white, and the pinky red which seems easy to understand). He didn’t seem to get what I wanted and made it a pretty long process. I also asked for 2 hearts on my white nails to which he straight up told me “I can’t do that” and we had to pull a worker away from a pedicure to help do the hearts. The lady there is so nice and helpful and sweet to talk to, and actually makes an effort to talk to you. I had no conversation with this man the couple times I’ve had him work on my nails. I hate to leave long reviews however the company through the few years have gotten more rude and less professional. I recommend going here and requesting the lady.

Critical: ProfessionalismWe were late for our appointment due to issues at the restaurant beforehand taking a lot longer than expected and I called ahead to move time. When we arrived the woman started yelling at me and berated me. I apologized several times. Through out the pedicure she continued to berate me I finally asked her if she wanted me to leave. This was above and beyond the worst nail salon experience I’ve ever had. When waiting for my nails to dry, one of the workers insisted on touching them to see if they were dry. He was really rough with it (as I tried to pull my hand away), and he ended up messing up the two nails (pulling the nail polish out of place). I told him he had messed them up, and he yelled at me saying he hadn’t. I tried to show him, and he kept insisting they were fine when they were clearly messed up. He begrudgingly fixed one nail (barely), but not the other. He was aggressive throughout the entire encounter. This is all after the man doing my manicure had warts all over his hands and generally didn’t do a good job with any aspect of the manicure (especially filing- I had to ask for them to be even). The two men working were aggressive and unkind from the moment I walked in. They make me feel incredibly uncomfortable. I’m not the kind of person who writes reviews, but the owners need to know how terrible service was and adjust accordingly.

My aunt has been getting her nails done here for a long time and she has never had a complaint but I’ve had my nails done twice at almsot 3x shorter a length and both sets fell off a week after they were applied. Maybe it was just my nails themselves, but other than that they do great nail work, one lady does nail art and most of the workers socialize well. 3 stars I think is fair… My personal experience with them was not all that great but otherwise they were fine.

So I came here against my better judgement based off previous Reviews I seen on this salon. I’m not from Rhode Island I am from baltimore MD. I came here to visit my boyfriend and I needed my nails done this was close & then nails looked ok so I came. When I came in nobody knew what they were suppose to be doing told me to wait on the guy to come in, so I did I literally stood there and waited he came back from outside pretty quickly. I was suppose to get a pedicure and a infill with Gel polish. The guy literally put my feet in water, wiped them off filled them a little then used the scrubber to go around my feet very very quickly, he then pulled my feet out of the water and was about to proceed to polish with the Gel I was originally suppose to get, I no longer wanted to pay 45$ for an gel pedicure because he did not do a great Job at all. He did no real filing, no real scrubbing to cleanse my feet, lightly cleaned under my nails(barely), no lotion on my feet, like nothing that a basic pedicure even comes with. Just a pure rush job… I then Told him I would just get regular polish. I walked up front to pick out a color for the regular polish my boyfriend asked me why I was no longer getting gel and I told my boyfriend because he didn’t do a good job and I don’t want to spend 45 on a bad pedicure so I’ll just get regular. Another lady came over and said I hear you say he didn’t do a good job maybe you should go somewhere else for your nails. I quickly reminded her that I WAS NEVER TALKING TO HER, I never complained to her or him I let him do his job and was just going to get it fixed when I got back to Baltimore, she then kept telling me to go somewhere else because she doesn’t want me to be unhappy… while never attempting to fix the problem… just telling me to go somewhere else. . . I’m an cosmetologist myself which I told her as she budded in on my personal conversation. As a customer service based business you should never let a customer leave without trying your best to satisfy them. I never once complained about the SANITATION GUIDELINES THEY failed to follow or anything… basically to make this long story short for you all please save your money and go somewhere else. They are unpleasant people who don’t have any sense of Customer service. . . Oh and she literally told me at the end of the day they are in business for money lol I guess just the money not to please the customer… I will be calling the labor board and reporting them for a multitude or reasons. Sometimes you should really watch how you treat people because you never know who your dealing with… Good luck with your business.
