Let me start of by saying that this could have been a very bad review but the way the manager handled the situation turned what could have been a bad experience into a great one! I got my nails done by one of the ladies there. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she seemed hesitant but she went to work. I could tell that it was a little hard for her but she was patient and I appreciated that. The design turned out to be just what I asked for so I was happy with that but when washing my hands I noticed some of the nails needed some shaping and I tried telling her a few times but I could tell she wasn’t understanding me so I left it at that because I could tell there was a language barrier and everyone else was busy and I could just try shaping them at home. So I paid and left but on my way out I noticed some other things that made me unhappy and it took everything in me to go back because I am very shy and I usually don’t like to complain but I had had a hard day and I paid for the services and felt I needed to speak up so it could be addressed and if possible fixed. When I got there I noticed one of the young ladies who works there that I know speaks the most English was leaving and I felt bad for stopping her but felt like I had to just to make sure i would be understood . Turns out she was the manager and as soon as I explained the situation she quickly came back inside with me and started working on my nails again! What I loved about the experience was that she didn’t make excuses, she acknowledged that there was a language barrier and that the technique was hard. She apologized and offered to do the same design on my nails using a different technique but I told her it was fine just to do a pearly white and we could call it a day and they could give me the difference back because I truly was exhausted and in pain. She was happy to do it and honestly it was beautiful and just what I wanted. Not only that i asked her to do me a favor and tell the prior lady that I was sorry and that I knew it wasn’t her fault, that I knew that she just couldn’t understand what I was telling her but that I would also appreciate it that if there is something that can’t be done or someone feels like they can’t do it, for them to tell me so I could avoid having a bad experience. I was pleasantly surprised when she called her over and told her all of this right in front of me. This turned what could have been a very bad experience that kept me from coming back into a very good one that left a lasting impression of true leadership and accountability! I will definitely keep coming back!

Just left the salon and my nails are terrible. When I sat down I asked the girl if my nails were long enough for square shape. She did them, and when my nails were finished the corners of my nails have spots with no polish. When I mentioned it she said it’s because I wanted the square shape. Not sure how that would make it to where they couldn’t get color on the corners of my nails, but regardless, she should have said from the beginning that she couldn’t do that shape. I paid $43 for these nails. I’ve been a long time customer. Not returning.

Once they got to my pedicure they rushed thru it. Once they did my full set they did shellac on set of nails. Nails do not match toes. One nail is crooked. And two of them are rough. Super not impressed. This is the second time I’ve been and they messed them up both times. Went there today to get Some acrylics for a friends wedding. The Lady who did my nails was so kind and got the job done quick efficient and it was done well. This is my new favorite place to go for nails in Fort Dodge. I totally recommend them. everyone there is so nice and that gives off a very friendly vibe when you walk in.

Just got out of the shop in under 30 minutes for dip nails. Every other salon I’ve been to, dip takes at least an hour but for some reason they were in a hurry today. Buffed my previous nails off rather than soak and left multiple cuts. You can still see the powder underneath and it doesn’t look like a consistent color. Nails are mishaped. Won’t be returning.
