Terye Wohnus is a board certified massage therapist & has been practicing therapeutic massage in Brattleboro since she opened Centered Healing in ’05 after graduating from the Stillpoint Program at Greenfield Community College with honors. In addition to seeing clients in her own practice, she began seeing patients at VT Chiropactic Orthopedics for Dr. Marcy Jones from ’06 until he retired in ’09. She provides pain management & stress reduction with massage techniques that include myofascial release, deep tissue, neuromuscular therapy & Swedish massage. Though VT doesn’t require massage therapists to be licensed or certified, Terye chooses to be board certified to assure her clients of her commitment to excellence & professionalism.

Terye is wonderful to work with. I found her after having a bi-lateral knee replacement and was having difficulty with scar tissue impeding my progress. She really listened to me and worked with me in figuring out how best to address what was going on. Within two months of working with her my flexion on both legs improved by over 10 degrees. I was thrilled and so was my surgeon. I have continued to work with Terye to address other alignment issues with my legs caused by many years of misaligned knees. I can’t say enough good things about working with her and would recommend her to anyone looking for a massage therapist they can work with.
