I was on a business trip in Charleston, and my body was hurting from all the travel. Also, I have fibromyalgia, so the travel did not help. I needed to see a massage therapist ASAP! I called around, and found Center For Therapeutic Massage. Allison picked up the phone, and I quickly explained the issues I was having. Despite her busy schedule, she was able to fit me in for a 90 minute massage. It was excellent, and the pain in my body dissipated. For the first time in awhile, I was able to get a good night sleep. For anyone traveling in the area, this is a very good place for a therapeutic massage for injuries and relaxation.

I recently had surgery on my leg in April due to a blood clot and was told that only over time, the swelling would go down and I could resume running, jumping, and other similar exercises again. After 4 months of waiting, I was referred to Allison and started seeing her regularly to loosen up the tissue and muscles in my leg. Within 1-2 months of seeing her, I was completely back to normal and running up to 5-6 miles with no leg pain or swelling. It’s been incredible getting back to my active lifestyle and I’m sure I’d still be playing the waiting game if it wasn’t for Allison and Center For Therapeutic Massage!
