I visited Katie @ Centennial Street Salon yesterday, and she was not only a amazing stylist, but she gives you knowledge about the health of hair, she has a welcoming personality and great conversationalist. Its all about self care there, and making a gal/guy feel great. I highly recommend this spot. And I don’t not want to leave out the owner/skin care specialist she’s super inviting and you can tell she wants you to feel at home, and I briefly met Leslie the nail girl, go see her she you definitely will Crack some laughs. Go see these ladies!!

I met the new owner at the La Plata Business Association meeting and, without too much difficulty convinced me to come try a 90 minute swedish massage. John, the masseuse was very professional, listened to my concerns, asked about any specific areas that needed work and then gave me a five star massage. I selected medium pressure and that’s what I got (now that I know his definition of medium, I’ll kick it up a notch on my next visit). After my 90 minutes were up (the clock doesn’t lie but I was so relaxed it seemed much shorter) John explained what areas of tightness he noticed and explained what he would spend more time on if/when I return.

Our first visit, the atmosphere was nice, comfortable, and the place smells so nice. Katie was super sweet and did my daughter’s trendy quarter shave haircut just the way we were hoping for. She took time to do some finishing touches and she made my daughter feel happy and beautiful. Bonus points for keeping up the conversation with my chatty girl playing 21 questions lol. I’ve already scheduled an appointment for me next.
