Debbie Cali at Celestine Salon & Spa has been the “caregiver and guardian” of my hair for longer than I will admit. She has saved my hair from me on many occasions and if it weren’t for her, my hair wouldn’t be as wonderful as it is! Thank you Debbie and Thank you Celestine … because as everyone who knows me will tell you… if you didn’t provide a home for Debbie to care for my hair, I would find her and bring her right back to you so my hair would be ever-happy again! Plus… Celestine provides me with relaxation, girl-time and sometimes laughter so hard, I end up in tears! All the ladies who work there and I see as regulars are wonderful!

Legit best salon ever!!! They make u feel right at home and are soooo talented, I was so scared to do a drastic cut like I did but I’m def glad I came here. My entire experience was just phenomenal from the lady that washed my hair to the receptionist, just an all around great place. I would def 10/10 recommend giving this place a shot, and I promise u will not be disappointed. Also Jen was my stylist, she was such a pleasure to talk to, she made my experience at that salon amazing. But all the girls seem like they know exactly what they r doing.

Loved my first experience at this salon. My hair cut and color was done by Jen. she did a great job. She is super sweet, friendly and knows how to work with hair. My hair is baby thin. She took the time and shaped it better than I have had in a long time. Thanks again Jen!

Drove past this gem for years before I randomly stopped in. I can’t believe it took me so long! This is a world-class hair salon and spa nestled right in the middle of town. The hair stylists are extremely talented and detailed in their work — I’ve tried probably 5 different styles since I started going here! And having the spa downstairs is the best. Such an excellent little retreat.

In December 2018, I went to this hairdresser to have my hair highlighted. Before she started the process I showed the picture I had already prepared and explained thoroughly that I don’t like gold blond or any shade of red in my highlight, and that I liked the color to be ash blond. The process took more than 5 hours. After she washed my hair, my highlight was exactly the color I warned her many times that I hated. After half an hour she admitted that she picked the wrong tone!!!!! Again she put another tone on my hair, but not only it was harmful to my hair, it did not help to correct the color. In the end they charged me the price of the highlight plus 30 Dollars axtra for the unwanted tone. They made me pay in advance before I see my hair is ruined. I would never recommend this hairdresser for any professional job.

The salon itself is gross. The pedicure chairs are old and ripped up and everything around the nail area looks like a chaos (fungus in the making). The girl that did my hair used a brush that had a WAD of hair on it. No joke. It was full of hair. The ladies that work here have no sense of hair for younger people and that’s fine, but turn us away instead of giving awful advice about what to do with your hair. Overall, if you’re over 50 you’d probably like it. It’s cheap, the people are friendly, and they are able to do many hairstyles that older ladies might enjoy. Just whatever you do, don’t get your nails done here. There are much cheaper places that actually clean their pedicure chairs and manicure areas. No one should be doing nails in such a filthy environment. My experience was not great and I will most likely not be returning.

A great organization “Diva for a day” who sponsors breast cancer patients/ survivors all over the world with a day of pampering; treated me to a full day of pampering at a salon near my house. Well without going into great detail I have never felt so uncomfortable in my life. A few of the staff members were nice to me however one in particular Stylist/owner Jen didn’t acknowledge me the entire time I was there, until it was time for me to leave. The receptionist told me that I needed to take a picture with Jen. Jen came over and said Oh “I’m Jen by the way” ( mind you I was told she was suppose to do my hair but was too busy for me) she took a picture with me for the sponsor and walked away. She treated me as if I was less than a human being. I didn’t get the full treatment that I was suppose to get, I felt rushed and uncomfortable. The massage therapist wasnt there due to a loss in the family, the shampoo girl attempted to flat iron my hair, the nail tech had to leave so her assistant had to do my pedicure. I really looked forward to this day to feel special especially considering all that I’ve been through. But I will never go here again. This salon has done a disservice to an organization who tries to make women battling with breast cancer feel special. The honorable thing for this salon to do is to refund the “diva for a day foundation” in full.
