I came in last night knowing what I wanted, to sign up for the monthly spray tanning membership. The girl behind the counter, I believe her name was Grace, was EXTREMELY helpful, SUPER friendly and knowledgeable and provided excellent customer service. I was really impressed with the way she treated me, she was so kind and patient answering all my questions completely. I used to manage a tanning salon when I lived in New York and she is definitely someone I would want on my staff.

After having a bad experience with another tanning salon I was hesitant to start up again. I moved to East Phoenix and started up with Celebrity Tanning for three months now and I couldn’t be happier! I explained my hesitation to the manager and she made me feel more secure in my decision to start up again. Friendly and professional staff are always there to help or answer questions. Tanning bed are so much better than I ever had which tanning has been effortless. I highly recommend anyone who is interested in tanning to go there!

When recently relocating to Phoenix, from Denver, with a trip to Mexico quickly approaching I found the need to seek a new tanning salon. After speaking with multiple friends and hearing the reviews for Celebrity Tanning I decided to check out the location. The location is easily accessible as I live down the street (3 blocks) and workout (4 blocks) away. I was shown the various levels on tanning 1 to 5 and decided on a mid level package (level 3) as I was tanning for a trip and summer was approaching. When consulting with their tanning representatives I decided on a monthly unlimited package which I could cancel the following month after my credit care was drafted. Feeling that a two month unlimited package made more sense, I signed up for the monthly membership and paid my first month dues knowing that I could cancel after my first draft giving me tanning for two months even though my trip was only in a few short days away. Well my credit card was drafted and I went to cancel, which was not difficult. When canceling, today was considered a 30 day cancelation notice allowing my credit card to be drafted again giving me a three month membership during summer in Arizona. Be careful of the memberships you sign and agree to pay for. I was looking to receive a base tan, which I did, and now have a three month membership while living in the Valley of the Sun. At least the facility is clean and the beds appear to be well take care of.

Best place to get a tan. Shaena the manager is the best. She informed me of the deal they were having and got me the best deal possible. Celebrity tanning always has clean beds and great staff.

Disappointed. I had a $30 balance on my account from a lotion purchase; I then proceeded to pay said balance cash. I thought it was odd when the day after I made the payment, I was told I still had a balance. I told the young lady that that was incorrect as I had paid it the day prior. Next thing I know, the $30 is added to my monthly draft amount. I immediately call and am told that I need to provide a receipt to prove that I made the payment (which I didn’t have bc who would keep a $30 receipt for lotion?) I told them I could tell them the extact date and time range that the payment was made and that they could check their cameras (which they have). I then repeatedly call back for a week straight and am told a manager will be contacting me (which still hasn’t happened). Very disappointed that I’m going through this with them and am still dealing with this…I’m shocked they didn’t just immediately refund the funds…they could always follow up with their own investigation after the fact but why make me wait? It’s only $30 but it’s still theft and it’s not fair or right.
