I had haircuts at Celebrity Maywood for over 6 years, but I stopped going here because my hairdresser Amy is no longer with them. Amy is an amazing and experienced hairstylist who has been with Celebrity for 20 years; she was the love and light of this place. For anyone in a similar situation, do not panic, Amy is at Chameleon Colors in River Edge! I am so happy I can continue seeing her.

I’ve been to the salon for a cut several times, always left happy but tonight was my first experience with Amy. She did beautiful highlights, fixed my color that I wasn’t too happy with, and gave me a great cut. I’m supper happy and will definitely return to her. She’s also very nice and friendly, and the prices are reasonable. The salon is always very clean.

I Love Celebrity Salon. All the Staff are warm and friendly. I never have to wait. Felita does a beautiful job with my hair, which is curly so it’s not so easy to cut. She’s also amazing with my kids. Been bringing my kids (aged between 5 – 9) here for years and they love coming here to have their hair cut.

I have a short haircut and came here to get the sides trimmed to touch up my hair. I am growing it out and wanted to keep the top long. The stylist took it upon herself to give me bangs, because she felt they looked good. I do not think they look good. At all. Usually the hairdresser cuts a bit off the ends to keep the hair healthy, but when she was done, she left me with bangs and put my hair gelled on to my forehead. She also left me with long hair at the nape of the neck, leaving me with a little rat tail. I didn’t come in looking for this odd pixie cut. I just wanted a bit off the sides to keep it trimmed. I specifically made it clear. What a disaster. Now I have to wait even longer to grow my hair out the way I like. I would not recommend going here.

I went for the 1st time about a month ago and everyone at the salon is friendly. The environment feels great clean and inviting. I did my hair with Amanda who was beyond amazing. Extremely professional and I can tell has tons of experience styling and coloring hair. I have gotten non stop compliments and I will absolutely be coming back to do my hair with Amanda!
