Critical: ProfessionalismIf I could give this review no stars I would. I paid $40 for a set of nails that are globs and cracking after 3 days. The lady did not push my cuticles back until she was done with my nails. she kept using a drimel to go over the dip because it was too thick. While doing this she drimeled my cuticle off, so if you get color 179 in the dip you will also be getting pieces of my DNA being she kept dipping my bloody finger in the dip… 3 out of 10 nails are crooked. 2 nails are cracked after 3 days. The lady did not push my cuticles back until she was done with my nails. she kept using a drimel to go over the dip because it was too thick. I wasn’t going to leave this review but I have since decided to. I will note that I got my nails done here about 2 weeks ago. I typically go somewhere else but decided to come back and give Celebrity Nails a try as I was unhappy with the customer service I was receiving at the other nail salon. I used to come to Celebrity frequently, Mary used to own it and was always genuinely kind and pleasant and worked hard to make sure her customers were satisfied. I came back recently and brought my 7 year old daughter with me as well. I had grown my nails out and had reached a point where I was just getting an overlay, which is acrylic on my actual nail. My nails were long and strong and in great shape. I asked for the same service, the overlay. I was asked if I wanted my nails trimmed and I said I did, but just a bit. The lady who did my nails cut them to a decent length but for some reason cut my thumb nail extremely extremely short. When I noted that my nails were uneven in length, she responded by chopping the rest of my nails extremely extremely short to match. Painfully short. The service was rushed and unpleasant. In addition to that, even though the shop was literally empty, my 7 year old daughter was made to sit across the room though there were seats available right next to me. The technician who did her nails was also unpleasant and seemed annoyed she was having to do a child’s nails. I requested that we sit next to one another for the toes portion and that was accommodated however when my daughters toes were done (she received regular polish, not shellac) and we went to leave, I asked for a pair of the slip ons so she didn’t smudge her paint. The tech had moved on to another task and even though my tech was free, she yelled for the other woman to get the slip ons and the lady came back and like grabbed my daughters feet and shoved them into the slip ons so roughly that when we left, we barely got out the door before noticing my daughters pedicure was completely destroyed due to how the tech shoved the shoes on her feet. I was extremely frustrated but decided not to leave a review as I didn’t want to do so in anger. I am now due for my next nail touch up and as someone who gets her nails done often, I can honestly say I have never ever had such a terrible job done on my nails. I get the acrylic with shellac on top every time and I have never had it chip off so badly to this extent. On top of all that, the acrylic is lifted so far off my nail that I am unable to like brush or wash my hair without it snagging underneath the nail and ripping my hair out. I get these same services every time and get them redone at the same amount of time, so from experience , this is not how my nails should look at this point. This was a particularly awful job. I will now have to get the fake tips put on because of how badly she decimated my nails. After the horrible service and the fact that I have NEVER had a manicure that looked THIS bad in this amount of time, I felt it did require me to leave this review so that at least a person can be forewarned before choosing this salon. Celebrity nails used to be great, love and miss Mary. But since then, I would steer clear of this salon.

Great work done every time I’ve been. I use to be a regular for 4 yrs till I moved a little further away but today I came back in with my sister.Mrs Mary wasn’t there but they still took very good care of me an wine was optional with the service as always. Such a warm an welcoming crew . Will be back again. Pedicure, Manicure

I have been to many nail salons with only sub par results. This is a TOP NOTCH salon!! I got my mani and pedi with Hannah. She took special care of me and informed me that my nails were in need of care. She paid very close attention to detail and made me feel so welcomed and at home.
