If I could rate this business a 0 I would. I’m NEVER one to come review badly on a hair page but I will today! I’ve gone to catty shack before in the past and the girl fried my hair and caused chemical burn to my scalp. Hesitant to ever step foot back in the building I decided to give them one more chance two years later (yesterday) to see if they could do a basic light ash brown on my hair. The woman did a dark ash brown in my head and completely jacked my hair up. I wanted a trim and she completely cut my hair! My hair is basically black right now with super blonde money pieces that was nothing like the picture I wanted. When I told my stylist I hate my hair she stopped responding and honestly I’m terrified for her to “fix” my hair so I asked for a refund. The woman was extremely rude and told me she would not be giving me a refund and that if I want it fixed I could come in, I hung up bc I’m not going to get my hair messed up anymore by them! This is the most unprofessional place I’ve ever been and you should all save your money! I now have to go pay a whole other stylist to redo my hair and pay her for that. Catty shack is not the place to go! Pics in comments…oh also!!! I already paid $145 for the service. Then she wants me to come get it “fixed” but still wants me to pay for the “fixing”

This was the first time I’ve ever had any trouble but it was a quick and easy fix with no charge! I get my hair super blonde and got my hair highlighted again and she accidentally didn’t let the toner sit in long enough so my roots were a little yellow but I called in when I could and they took me in as soon as possible to retone it with no complaint at all. I love Catty Shack and I would suggest going here for all your hair care needs. Ask for Amanda Bryd when you go, she is my favorite and has done my hair beautifully twice now. The hairstylist are great, it’s the lady commenting that has changed my patronage. It’s one thing to reply to negative comments, but to attack? Yikes! Sure I got a good laugh when I saw she referred someone to the Denham Springs school of hair cutting, but that’s not a business I’d support with my $. Thanks for the laughs, but perhaps try to keep it classy, might want to think about the public seeing the responses. Kindness matters, at least to some of us southerners.

I went here Friday and I do like my hair and liked the stylist. The prices are crazy high though!! I’ve been getting my hair done for 10 years, highlight as always! And I’ve only been to nice places. I paid $185 before the tip! For a partial highlight and a trim. I do have thick hair, and since I didn’t mention it when booking I had told the stylist I was okay with just getting a partial highlight. Normally when I get a full highlight & trim at other places it’s around $150.

I came here recently the place isn’t as “classy” as they make it out to be and it was literally dead on the inside and I’m not surprised as to why. The haircut itself wasn’t bad and the hairdresser was nice. The reason I am giving it one star because one of the ladies in there was very RUDE and as another reviewer wrote “snobby”. The lady spoke as if she was entitled to something. I do not recommend coming here as there is a lack of respect from the business to the customer. On top of all that overpriced.

Decent haircut, overpriced in my opinion. The lady that takes the names and numbers down was very rude. Friendly tip for you, watch how and what you say to your customer. My first time experience was terrible i will never be coming back and I don’t recommend their business.

Started using this place a few months ago after 30 years of the same guy cutting my hair. Have been satisfied with the service. Inside I find it a little dark, but would recommend for a easy and complete in and out.

Really great hair salon if you’ve never went somewhere and just been able to sit down and say I want something different I want my hair to make me feel beautiful this is the place to go because they know exactly what to do and how to do it I’ve never had a better haircut than when I’ve went here worth the extra 10 or $15 more than what you’ll pay to go to the cheaper place. Women that cut the hair at the salon are absolutely so knowledgeable and so sweet

A good cut. I’m not mad. Price is inline with other higher quality salons for a men’s cut… maybe a little cheaper. I think I’ll go back. Shea did my hair, and she listened well to what I wanted and we got about as good as it’ll get, honestly. I’ll probably ask for her again, but I’m really not that picky with my hair.
