Cartoon Cuts has been at Fair Oaks mall since my little girl was in Kindergarten. And now my daughters beautiful, very first grandson is a customer! His very first haircut was so well managed, from the stylist, to the calming environment, to the fun customer seats. Make it a family affair! Your little one will remember the time you took to make their first and follow on haircuts special!

Wouldn’t recommend this place at all for your baby’s first haircut. To start with, the place is not as clean as other saloons. The process felt super rushed, they just want to get done with your baby’s haircut and serve as many customers as they can during the day. I had a 30min reservation. But the haircut felt pretty rushed and felt like they just want to move on to the next customer as soon as they can. Moreover, it was my baby’s first haircut and it was a horrible first experience for me as a parent. I know babies cry during their first haircut, but I was expecting that personnel at cartoon cuts doing the haircut will make the baby feel at comfort and that they would talk/divert the baby during the haircut so that the baby is distracted and wouldn’t cry. There was Zero interaction between the baby and the service personnel. She just wanted to get done with the haircut. Not friendly at all.

My daughter’s first hair cut experience went well. From the moment she was getting her hair washed, she was made to feel comfortable. Had paw patrol playing and our stylist knew she had to work fast to keep up with my daughter’s attention span. Will go there the next time my daughter needs a haircut.

Had my son’s first hair cut here and even though he cried at first the lady who cut his hair was so thoughtful and helped give him toys and show him the small tv to quiet him down. She was super quick with the haircut and it was very neat even though she was so fast!! The whole thing didn’t even take 10 minutes! I highly recommend this place and I will definitely be coming back here for future haircuts!

My toddler-aged son was terrified of getting his haircut. He gets nervous with new situations and has some sensory issues with people touching around his ears. I tried cutting his hair myself but it always looked terrible and involved lots of tears. We are so lucky to have found Munaza at cartoon cuts fair oaks! She works with us and cuts as quickly and as nicely as she can. It always turns out great and my son is getting more comfortable the more frequently we go. We drive to see her from Arlington…she’s that good! I definitely recommend her to anyone with a fearful child cause she calms both the child and me!

Nothing special about this place and they charge high price for the service they provide. I took my 2 years old son and he kept crying the whole time and I was holding him while he got a hair cut. There were some other kids crying too. They have a few low quality screens playing cartoons and think they are expert in providing haircut to kids. I believe they need some special training to be able to calm down kids, talk to kids, at least have a smile and provide a haircut. I give 2 stars because hair cut was just ok, but my kids experience was horrible.

We made an appointment for a haircut for our toddler who HATES getting his haircut – like we’ve had to restrain him. We arrived early and Linda took us right away. They let him watch Paw Patrol and got the job done in about 10 minutes. I had to hold him for part because he flailed arms but overall it was great. We would definitely go back. His haircut wasn’t perfect but that was due to his flailing.

We love these ladies! If your child “accidentally” cuts their own bangs or hair, run, do not walk, to them to fix the problem. My kids love the tv distraction and we always come out with a great cut and smiles.

Ms Mame IS THE SWEETEST most patient cute person ever.. I had bad experiences in other places with my toddler who is sensitive to noises but since I found Ms meme she is in charge of my boys.. not only for her way to treat the little ones but also for the beautiful haircut.
