After a poor customer service experience at the barber shop next to the theatre on Court St., I wasn`t sure where to get a good fade in Athens. I appreciate the customer service of the barbers here and Daniel does a great job every time. Super personable and a great barber. 10/10 would recommend.

They cut my two young teens hair, one was a crew cut, the other has the long hair on top with short under (he has man bun). They edged out both cuts so well. Both barbers we interacted with were very friendly. After leaving they extended their services by means of running out with a fire extinguisher when my vehicle caught fire. Wish I was joking. Carsey’s Barber Shop was GREAT! They cut my two young teens hair, one was a crew cut, the other has the long hair on top with short under (he has man bun). They edged out both cuts so well. Both barbers we interacted with were very friendly. After leaving they extended their services by means of running out with a fire extinguisher when my vehicle caught fire. Wish I was joking. No disrespect to the guys, they’re good dudes, but They have messed my hair up every time I’ve been in. Which is about 6 or 7 times. Presuming it was just silly mistakes, I learned the hard way they do not know how to cut hair, especially for 15$! You do not get your money’s worth. If you do go here, request Dave, he knows what he is doing the most. Other than that, i would avoid this shop.

Carsey’s is a great place to get your hair cut. They charge $15 for a basic cut which includes a straight razor shave of the back of your neck. Even thought they schedule in 20 minute blocks, I have never felt rushed; I always feel like I’m the most important customer when I’m sitting in the chair. They have 5 chairs and typically 3 – 4 barbers working on any given day. Tip: call ahead for an appoint to make certain you can get in when you need to; they fill their schedules quickly.

Best hair cut I have ever had. Very professional! Since it is a Barber they also include a back of the neck shave, just like the old-time places. Ask for Rus, he’s the best!
