Our family business started back in 1999 and moved to Rogers Park in 2001. Carmen and Albert have served Rogers Park Community for almost 20 years. Along side her parents, Ashourina started working at the salon back in 2006, and has loved every minute of it. Our clients have become family to us over the past years. Carmen has started working since 1994 in Chicago. She brought her license with her overseas and continued her Cosmetology classes in Chicago. She started building her clientele from 1994 and brought them with her when she opened her first business in 1999. Carmen’s Beauty loves Rogers Park and continues to serve the community as long as we’re in business.

I was a little disappointed that eyebrow threading was $15 instead of the $7 everyone raved about, but I have to admit that my eyebrows have never looked better.I called the day before to set up an appointment for the next day, came 10 minutes early, and was seated immediately. I’ve had nothing but great experiences here. Ashourina does an awesome job with nails & I love the supplies they use because my nails sometimes break & get thin since I work in a hospital & have to wash them so much & every time I’ve gotten a manicure, especially the no chip manicure, my nails get much stronger, they grow long & the manicure lasts at least about 3 weeks. One time, I called them to see if they had any openings because I damaged my nail too far up & she said come in now & she did a great job. She also did a great job with my highlights. I like getting my eyebrows done here too. I also love the supplies they use for hair care & Carmen is the only person I let do my hair, after a bad experience I had at another place. My first experience at Carmen’s Beauty was great! While I was waiting, Carmen asked if I wanted to get my eyebrows threaded by Anice for $10, which turned out so nicely! Carmen knew exactly what hairstyle I was going for, and gave me tips about dying my hair, maintenance, etc. I’ve had stylists who are indifferent, extroverted to the point of discomfort, and completely silent. Carmen is personable and very easy to talk to. I was very comfortable and I’m sure you will be too!
