Good place to get a fast haircut. Carmen takes appointments and walk-ins. Fortunately, I was able to schedule my appointment a week before the time I called. It’s located in Aiea shopping center and parking was not an issue. I arrived a few minutes before my appointed time and I didn’t have to wait for too long. Price is reasonable and my haircut came out the way I hoped. I had an old photo of my previous haircut so I could show her without explaining too much. Feels refreshing, but I had to switch masks afterwards so best to keep an extra mask available.

I love the way she cuts my hair. I am from Spain. I have curly hair and I love layers, when I moved to Boston nobody knew how to cut my hair. After 8 years in the US, I moved to Hawaii and fortunately I found Carmen. She is the only one who understand my hair and I my layers are perfect!

My mother walked in and asked the female, are you able to take me? female said YES but it was a 25 minute wait, my mom told the female sure I’ll wait. A man & a couple walked in. The female walked to my mom and told my mom she doesn’t take credit cards. (After waiting almost an hour) My mom asked do you take checks? The female answered NO, I don’t. My mom told her okay I’ll get cash. My mom asked the female, wht didn’t you tell me when I walked in that it was cash only? Female’s respond was I forgot. The female went back to finish up with her customer. That customer of hers paid with a CHECK. My mom said to the female, you just told me you don’t accept checks and yet that customer is paying with a CHECK. My mom stood up and walked out. Is this female being RACIST?
