Ralph gives a phenomenal haircut at a great price, and has awesome stories to tell while you sit back and relax! He works right down the hall from my apartment, and the convenience is unbeatable. My only hang-up was that my haircut lasted a lot longer than those I would get from other stylists/barbers, and I felt bad asking him to rush his craftsmanship! I think this was only because it was my first cut with him and he had no appointments immediately after mine. So, if you have extra time to kill, or if you can let him know you’re on a tight schedule, then Ralph is a great barber for anyone!

He is a wonderful guy, a fair and honest businessman, a charming story-teller who was great at relating to my boys at every age, and a first-rate barber. This is the crown jewel of barber shops in the North Shore. If you’re looking for bells and whistles move on. If you want the best cut from the master of his craft done in an old school way (in the best sense of the word) at a preeminently reasonable cost, this is your shop. I feel at home here. Sheriff Andy Taylor would too. It’s just that kind of shop.
