What a great place! My hair was done by Franky! Carla’s son. He’s new to the trade but you wouldn’t know. Took his time and cared about all the details. Was one of the most comfortable clean ups I’ve had. My hair looks clean and sharp; you can tell his training came from a true master aka Carla! So excited to go back! Definitely hit this place up for a great haircut!

Carla is an excellent barber. My hair has some difficult-to-manage cowlicks and Carla knows exactly how to cut my hair so the cowlicks are tamed. The result is a very clean, well-manicured look. Carla is very friendly and considerate of her customers. My appointments almost always begin and end on-time. I highly recommend Carla’s Barbershop.

Carla is authentic, gives a very clean cut and is extremely skilled. She comes from generations of barbers and you can tell by the quality. I am very selective of who cuts my hair and it has taken me so long to find someone good who cares about what they do. I refuse to go to any other barber or I’d rather cut my hair myself. Let’s face it, All chain barbershops are mediocre and hire anyone with a license. Carla isn’t that. Best barber in Castle Rock!!

Carla is a really good barber. She does fantastic work whether you need a haircut or beard trim, and she does such good work that you’ll feel like you got the best deal ever. Carla was very accommodating at first when scheduling an appointment online.Yet , when I chose the wrong hair cut she cancelled it .I then let her know something came up anyways and apologized . She then stated that since it was my first appointment and I had something come up that she does need my business although, she already canceled my appointment. Regardless , if Carla is good or not as a stylist, I would not suggest her due to inability to have good customer service. There are to many other hair salons or barbers in town that will be more accommodating than Carla’e barber shop.

I used to cut my hair here, but since they updated their booking system, I tried to requesting a booking and they never contacted me back. Although I ALWAYS gave them 50% or more tips and I was always a good costumer, I guess they don’t want to cut my hair anymore. Hopefully is nothing racist due to my hairstyle or something. But looking at the other reviews, they seem to give some really unprofessional responses, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it was.

I have walked or driven by this barber pole in downtown Castle Rock 100’s of times and never stopped. I was in bad need of a beard trim and decided to give it a try. Why did I wait so long? Made a Sunday morning appointment for 8:40. I walked in the door to be greeted by Carla and immediately set in a barber chair. She did an amazing job, and I couldn’t be happier. Great to have a locally family owned and operated barber shop!
