I don’t enjoy the music played inside the establishment, but I’m not there to judge the music. My son’s barber, Raul, is excellent. He follows directions, and his pricing is fair based on his craft. He was ready and prepared when we arrived, and although I didn’t have cash, he recommended Zelle via the NFCU app. Highly recommend.

Every time I comes to Capones, they always take me in right on time and always greet me by saying what’s up and starting some kind of conversation during the cut. The place is also very nice and modern with all the latest barber equipment and chairs that are extremely comfortable and nice. If you don’t have an appointment, don’t even bother. When I entered, was asked if I had an appointment, when I said no, was told to sign-in. That was the only acknowledgement I received. Was basically ignored after that, as people with appointments were the only ones being serviced. After nearly an hour of waiting was told it might be about another 15 minutes. I removed name from the list and left. Basic courtesy and business acumen would at least require that you inform a customer how long the wait could be. But no, not here. Just sit and wait and hope, maybe, someone might acknowledge you are there. Horrible experience and customer service. If service is by ‘appointment only’ please advertise that and remove the ‘Walk-ins Welcomed’ sign.

I’m very particular about my barber. The same lady cut my hair for 5 years in Washington state. After retiring from the military I moved back home and shopped around for a good one. Let me tell you Gelato is the best I’ve found in El Paso and the only one I’ll let cut my hair. He does an awesome job, very professional, always met with a fist bump and a smile, great conversations, truly one of the best barbers I’ve ever had the privilege of meeting. Give him a shot you won’t be disappointed.

I go with Fern and he always does an amazing job. Barbers are hard to shop around for and the walk in life is terrible. My advice is find a barber that you like here and ask for their info. A lot do reservations so when I reserve my slot, I walk straight in to his chair and I’m out less than an hour. Haircut
