I don’t normally leave reviews, but I feel like I need to in hopes that injury is prevented for another person. As a preface, my partner scheduled this appointment (who is also formerly a district manager of a massage therapy company), I have received significant care as far as massage therapy, chiropractic, and OMM, and this had to be the most concerningly painful experience I have ever had. There was absolutely no technique (jumping around to different areas of my body with no real focus on the specific areas I asked), he incorporated what he calls “energy balancing” (basically an assessment similar to what you would have at an OMM appointment and something that should only be done by qualified professionals), and then did cupping on only the left side of my back and didn’t place them strategically or with any purpose. If you are looking for pain relief or a massage, please go to someone/somewhere with recent reviews. He may have been better 8 years ago, but this massage has had me in significant pain, and with no relief in the areas I had requested.

No foo- foo massage here! Brandon has been a massage therapist for over 20 yrs. He is very knowledgeable about how the body should move and continuously educates himself on different techniques to help more individuals. Let it be noted, this is not ‘relaxation’ massage.Brandon focuses to help people with sports injuries, chronic pain, degenerative and mobility issues. Plus he’s a good listener, kind of like a local bartender, lol. Also an avid music fan, you can choose your type of music and he doesn’t overly grease you up! I believe he may still offer package deals such as a discount for buying 4 massages up front. Cash or check only. The fact that he sees many repeat customers speaks volumes. Come experience the difference!

Brandon is excellent! I was late to my first appointment and he was very understanding. I don’t have terrible shoulder pain but after only one session I feel like I could run miles! Would reccomend!

Capital Area Massage Therapy is the place to go to fix posture, headaches, etc etc. Brandon does massages that are functional. After every session you will feel 100% better, and over a period of time you will see an improvement in how your body functions.

Made an appointment for a massage. Muscle testing, looking at me with his arms across his chest, working his glasses in his mouth … He never got to the massage. I got up in worse shape than I came in.
